I don’t give out 4-stars that easily but for this DQ location, is the only one that I will drive across the city for! Great service but best of all is the workmanship in their cakes lol. Can’t believe I said that. Look at the lettering they do, attention to detail. Best part is their layers: lots of Oreo and fudge plus evenly spread out. I would avoid the Fraser & Hastings locations, been there, tried it. Owner takes pride. Even their frozen Busyer Parfaits, have 3 real levels of fudge ;) Parking can be tough here. Smaller location with a few patio seats outside.

The customer service at this Dairy Queen is unbelievable. Simon is unbelievably friendly and goes out of his way to make all his customers, particularly the kids, feel very special. He has created a very strong sense of community and a wonderful gathering place. This is a true neighbourhood gem. Despite it’s small size, there are chairs outside and a few benches nearby to sit out and enjoy a tasty treat.

This is close to my best friends house, therefore, shared a cone. Good customer service. Not that much seating room so it was a grab and go situation.

This little business, run by a committed superstar by the name of Simon, is a shining(to say nothing of delicious) example of how to run a business and build a personal brand. I have been a regular at this DQ for years. I get no more special treatment than a newbie coming in for the first time… that is to say we both get the royal, VIP, 6-star treatment. Not just from Simon, but his entire team. And I am not alone… the number of people I see coming in with a «Hey Simon…». The number of people I hear in the community that are randomly chatting about him and his operation. When it’s my son’s birthday he insists on the free treat. Every now and then he won’t take money from me. If I get a sudden craving at 10:38pm(8 mins after closing) he will open and make me my favourite. Nothing is too much trouble. He has a customer for life, and future customers in my children, who get more than their favourite ice cream — they get to see how a loving and caring person can build a thriving business on goodwill and a ready smile.

Small shop but good service. Any ice cream products served here well done. A large cone is served as an lsrge cone. Fast service.

Great experience here. I was served by a very friendly employee who made me a peanut buster parfait, and when I asked for more peanuts, she happily added more on! It was my first time having the peanut buster parfait. It’s like a chocolate sundae with the addition of a caramelly sauce(no real hint of peanutty tastes here) sprinkled with salty roasted peanuts. Not sure if I will get it again, but I was really happy with the service.

I have always passed by this dairy queen but I’ve never been inside before today. It’s relatively new, I want to say they maybe opened about a year ago but I’m not too sure. It’s small and there’s no seating area but the first thing I noticed is how clean the place is and cleanliness is a really big thing for me. I had a brief conversation with the owner, Simon, and I could tell he and his wife take a lot of pride in their cakes(It’s a family run business). After a really bad experience at another dairy queen, I came here hoping to find a last minute replacement icecream cake right before they closed. I bought a simple strawberry cheesequake blizzard cake because designs for blizzard cakes have to be preordered and I didn’t have time but they had about 20 other normal chocolate center cakes that had amazing designs too. I was shocked they have such a big variety of designs for a small store. If you’re looking for an ice-cream cake, even though this place may not be the closest, it’s definitely worth it. This was the third store I visited and was the furthest away of the 3 but I wish I came here first. I can’t comment on any of the other food that they serve but today’s experience, I wouldn’t be surprised if the food’s good too.
