For the single person or the couple who knows nothing about ballroom dancing: not only do we teach the basics of social dancing but we also look after some other aspects of life. We help build self-​confidence while at the same time have the opportunity to socialize and meet other people. Want to get into shape without locking yourself into a contract at a gym, join a social dance class.

Want to become an athlete in Dancesport?

For athletes, our system of teaching and coaching at DreamStar is based on research results on efficiency of movement. You will have a better understanding of the basic technique and body actions used in DanceSport. Our goal in your competitive career is to improve efficiency with less energy output. If being a champion in DanceSport is your dream, then we will try our best to help you get there.

History

Established in 2012.

Although DreamStar Dance Academy was only established in 2012, the director Faye Hung, has already been competing and teaching Dancesport in Hong Kong, Italy and Canada since 2005.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

After completing her double majors in Economics and Psychology at the University of British Colombia, she moved to Italy in October 2003 to continue her studies in DanceSport and has lived there till the end of 2014. Faye studied with the world’s most reknowned teachers, Davide and Olga Cacciari of Team Diablo, who has created over 60 world champions in the past 20 years. Along with private lessons with her teachers, she also studied at the Team Diablo Dancesport Academy which covered topics such as physics, anatomy, pedagogy, biomechanics as well as physical preparation for athletes. In the past 11 years, Faye has competed successfully as an amateur and professional in top-​level international dancesport competitions. Faye and her partner have made the finals in competitions held in Spain, Slovenia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany, Phillipines, Thailand and Taiwan.
