Ed’s Daily takes its name from two Eds, the paternal grandfathers of owners Dax Droski and Brett Turner. The neighborhood café and commissary in Strathcona’s Railtown district offers fresh, seasonal grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options as well as daily hot features that can be enjoyed in the fully renovated 24-seat dining space.
Formerly the site of a hotel and pool parlor with a somewhat spirited past, Ed’s Daily is now fully committed to building community. The integrated, 3, 500 square-foot commissary space will foster the small businesses of the city’s top culinary entrepreneurs. Ed’s Daily will also fuel the imaginations of the next generation, thanks to its ongoing involvement in Growing Chefs, an educational food program for Vancouver school children.
Rooted in the past, catering to the present, inspiring the future.
