Welcome to Extra Steps Preschool! We offer fun, friendly preschool programs and summer day camps for young children in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. Our programs are play-​based and are designed to promote children’s physical, emotional, social, intellectual and linguistic development in order to help them get ready for kindergarten and beyond. At Extra Steps, we pride ourselves on getting to know each child as an individual. We ensure that their temperament, likes and dislikes, level of development, and uniqueness are considered in everything we do.

Business Owner

Robb Weaver: Robb received his Early Childhood Education Diploma from Mount Royal College, Alberta and has worked with young children for more than fifteen years in a wide variety of fun-​filled programs. He is well known in the Douglas Park/​Mount Pleasant/​Riley Park area where he has run a successful home daycare and been an advocate for children for many years.

Sarah Little: A proud Vancouverite, Sarah is completing her Early Childhood Education Certificate through evening classes while working with Robb Weaver during the day. Her calm temperament and caring nature make her a valuable member of the Extra Steps child education team. Sarah has a knack for guiding children through difficult situations, getting down on their level while remaining respectful and understanding of them. Her eagerness to get to know each child and her fun-​loving charm leads to endless activities with them.
