I can’t be more satisfied. Great service and great price. The lady helped me choose frames and I fell in love with the very first pair she picked for me. Got free sight test and even some discount on the frames… awesome. Highly highly recommended!

I walked in an hour before closing to replace a pair of glasses I lost while cliff diving. I found the exact same frames for the fraction of yaletown prices. They already had the lenses in stock so they were able to make them on the spot. really happy with my experience here!

I just got two new pairs of glasses here. They tightened up my prescription a bit as I am getting older. There was a great selection of frames to choose from and service was great. Nick is a really nice guy. The prices are good and my glasses arrived very quickly. I looked at a few places in this neighborhood and this is the best as far as I can tell.

Last year I had eyeglasses that I needed new lenses for. I shopped around extensively and decided to get them at Fairmont because they were the cheapest by quite a bit. Those glasses turned out ok, so I was a satisfied customer. Then this year I had a new pair of glasses that I needed lenses for again. When I went to Fairmont, I decided to try out progressive lenses because my near-vision is starting to go. When I got them though, I really couldn’t get used to them. They gave me a headache. Now, apparently, if you use progressive lenses long enough, your eyes get used to them and they don’t seem weird anymore. However, I have several other glasses which are single vision, so I couldn’t see myself adjusting to the progressives if I was switching back and forth. Anyway, to make a long story short, I went back to Fairmont and they switched out the progressive lenses for single vision lenses for free! So, color me a happy customer.

Fantastic place. Great prices, loved my frames, good selection of frame types. I normally have to wait a long time for my glasses, but they had them ready in a day, which just blows me away! Cost of eye exam(for prescription only) waived if you buy your glasses from them. Great follow-up care too. The staff really know their stuff and take good care of you.

I was in need of some new frames and lenses and read on a website that this place was THEPLACE for all things glasses. Well… I can confirm this place is great. Here is why: Number 1 reason to come here is PRICE. This store is in the ‘glasses’ district of Broadway and competition is fierce. The reason Fairmont Optical can give better prices is because Doctor Nick is the owner/he has the power to knock down the price at his own discretion. Nick did mine and my girlfriend’s eye test and gave us a discount because I wanted to get two pairs for under $ 600.(due to insurance purposes). Both frames(name brand) and anti-reflective lenses cost $ 593. No tax. Discount. WIN. Staff is friendly and a decent selection of Brand name frames AND non-brand name. You could easily get some decent glasses for under $ 250.

Ummmm heyyyy… no reviews? Walked in today, picked from a large selection of rad frames, got an eye test, ordered anti-glare, scratch resistant lenses, paid $ 230TOTAL, and picking them up TOMORROW. The best I’ve experienced in an optical store.
