First time trying a fatburger. Awesome name for a burger restaurant! I’ve always wanted to try it since seeing one on the Las Vegas strip. I love a juicy artery-clogging burger once in a while, but I don’t like my entire burger to be soaked and dripping with grease… and that’s how my fatburger came. With every bite that I held to my mouth, grease dripped out of the burger. Perhaps it was because I was there in the morning and ordered their breakfast variety, the benny burger, which included cheddar cheese and bacon. Bacon strips were translucent and mostly fat. If they could drain the grease better on the meat patty and use higher quality bacon, they would have earned a higher rating.

Recently want to Burnaby for some appointments and end up getting hungry while on my way home. Saw this place and just dined because I was really hungry. Turkey burgers was like a true masterpiece. It was really splendid because its very tasty, I love this kind of turkey burger, the fries here was also good. Although they had a bad workers, didn’t liked the way they treat us customers. That was the worst way of attending customers.

I just adore the layout of this place, just too bad it’s closed early, due to mall food court hours in this massive gorgeous Waterfront building. Think 7pm or so. Anyways, they’ve a got a few U-shaped booths, so great for being tight with co-workers that normally can’t accommodate in lunchrooms… red leather too. And some diner-like booths along the edge facing the food court. On the left, there’s a counter with a few tv’s for those who choose to sit alone. Burgers aren’t quite like In and Out, and I’d pass on the milkshakes here, just average. same level as Wally’s Burgers.

Fatburger is kind of a hit and miss place. I generally like the food but it’s a little bit inconsistent with the preparation. Burger size seems to vary as does the assembly of the burger. I’ve gotten some that were really messy and some that were nice and neat. In any case, on this most recent visit, I decided to have one of their chicken burgers. This was a very pleasant surprise. It was fried up nice and crunchy(which didn’t soften up once mayo and veggies touched the chicken). It was an all-around excellent chicken burger. The price for what you get is kind of meh but I can usually forgive that if I like the food. I think I’ll go with chicken next time too and hopefully it is of the same quality as this last one.

Was here on Canada Day, 1)Swiss Mushroom Burger was Good and fresh but $ 8 just for a medium sized burger is just a rip off. 2)To a bigger surprise my friend’s fish and chip order was $ 12 for 3FISHSTICKS(the size you buy frozen at supermarkets eg Highliner) and small fries with coleslaw! That’s the same price at white spot and they serve a full sized meal with 2fish FILLET, fries, coleslaw And Drink! Even my buddy who rarely cares about money was regretful. For $ 12 I would expect nothing less than twice the size of everything in this Fish n Chips order. GOTOWHITESPOT or any other fish and chips joint and the size will be double of Fatburger. 3) Menu and Large stand up sign board says all day Breakfast(until 4pm I believe). On Canada Day there was NO breakfast being served at all. WTF? 1⁄5 for shoddy service changing the menu 1⁄5 for rip off pricing 4⁄5 for a decent tasting mushroom burger 2⁄5 overall
