Fine Finds Boutique

I have been in here a few times. It’s a small store with a bit of everything. Generic in brands and the styles are more on the costume level than sophticated. I did get a nice evening scarf for my mom here. Prices are very reasonable.

By Yaletown standards, well priced women’s and gift shop.
Clothing, more jewellery, hats, scarves, skincare… some funny wet wipes, albeit for $ 6 lol, 10 tissues.
Located across from Romer’s Burgers.
But you better know what you want, no refunds.

A one of a kind store! There’s always something new to look at or try on. If you’re in Yaletown and need to pass some time I would recommend visiting this store.
They also carry a good selection of Rocky Mountain products (hand and feet butter, Chapstick and soaps). I love the avocado hand butter, great for travel! You don’t have to worry about things like the lotion exploding when you open it on the plane because it’s a stick and considered a solid.
The clothing is hit and miss for me. Sometimes the selection is great, good selection of colours and different fits. Other times I won’t be able to find one article of clothing I even want to hold up in front of the mirror to see what it would look like. Some things get pretty pricy but the material is usually better than average.
They also have a wide selection of jewelry from local jewelry makers. Make sure you ask about which ones are nickel and lead free!

I finally had a bit of time to go through some of my past reviews, so I came back to this one to see how I could add an honest star or two. I really hate giving low star reviews, especially to local businesses. So here goes!
When my unfortunately icky experience first happened here way back when, Jane McFadden (the owner of the store) did message me to apologize, which in all fairness was a really nice thing to do and I really did appreciate it. I appreciated it enough to add another star.
While I have not shopped here since my first review, I did re-​read my review and saw that I stated that there should be another star added for variety of gifts to be found within the store. I have also received a gift from here last year from a friend. Which earns them another star.
As a lady of my word, Fine Finds is A-​OK in my books. Might not be for me, but I can understand and respect how others would find this place to be a gem of sorts in hoity-​toity Yaletown.

I travel to Vancouver about 4 times a year for work and I make a point to stop by this shop each time I visit! They always have the best scarves and jewelry. I never leave without buying something. The staff is friendly. Their items tend to always be whats «hot and new». Great little boutique!

Packed with trinkets and thingamajigs of all kind, this little store sure deserves another visit! It’s a great place to shop for odd gifts for any occasion. Literally, any occasion. They have a glass shelf stocked with wedding accessories, a section dedicated to babies and toddlers, various women’s clothing, scarves, SESAME STREET toques and mits (so cute!), costume jewelry and more!
It was like walking through a modern antique store — pardon the oxymoron! Try to make sense of it.
Nobody said Hi to me, and the shop girls left me alone for a good long while until I approached them. I must have popped in during «inventory time» of some sort because they were at the counter busily sorting through some costume jewelry.
I stumbled upon an item with amazing promise: Therma Gel socks. It claims to soften feet instantly through the herbal oil infused inner gel lining. The girl in the shop had little idea about it, but we had a good discussion about it nonetheless. I said I’d do some online research before investing $ 20 on them. Who knows. I’ll get to that soon!
Bored of your regular ol’ lip balm? They have pretty duckie ones! As a matter of a fact, it was a whole glass shelf full of duckie stuff. By «duckie», I mean ducks! Yellow ones, pink ones, blue ones, you’ll see. There was even a glorified «golden» bathtub duckie. Amusing!
I was very tempted to pick something up from here, just for the fun of it. However, I decided to be a good girl and to come back only when I need to.
…There’s no saying I wouldn’t stop by for a browse now and then!

What a unique store! The broad-​ranging inventory of clothes, accessories and gifts changes constantly so going back is always a surprise as one never knows what new products will be in store. It’s always a treat to shop here; the owner does a phenomenal job picking just the right items and is knows a lot about the merchandise. My only complaint is that I wish I lived close-​by so that I could visit the store more often!

I like this store because they have an assortment of unique gifts, jewelry, clothes and accessories. It’s an assemble of items that I love to look at and browse a store for.
The sales people there are friendly but not too pushy. I don’t like it when I go into a store and people start stalking you and I haven’t had an experience like that here.
For me, the prices aren’t unreasonable but there are items in the stores that I would never pay to get. Thus high prices aren’t issues for me. I will happily browse and find cute little things that are within my budget and I won’t be having a buyer’s remorse afterwards.
But seriously, if you are in the area and looking for some unique or cute gift ideas, I highly recommend this place. You will be supporting a local store and at the same time, finding that gift you are looking are (hopefully :)

What a treat for the senses! At fine finds you can find unique, feminie and trendy accessories, bridal gifts and hair facinators, lovely scented lotions and candles, pictures frames, creative and funny cards and many more pleasing knick-​knacks. Fine finds also offers a good selection of boutique clothing and accessory items from dresses to top to scarves to shoes to bags. Head further to the back of the store and you’ll find a small clearance section as well. Also at the back is a cute little nook with a bunch of baby items such as clothing, shoes, books and furnishings.
Although more on the pricey side, if you’re willing to spend the cash, you’ll surely find a fine find here!

Received a pair of nice gloves as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately they were too small, so I took the gift receipt and the gloves back to Fine Finds in the hopes that I would find something to exchange.
It took me forever to find something, because everything was so gorgeous, it was so hard to make up my mind.
In the end, I made the exchange for a beautiful soft warm tube scarf. So very happy with the scarf and the store.
Run, don’t walk to Fine Finds.

Fun girly boutique in Yaletown. Snazzy sparkly accessories, classy clothes, unique books, random housewares, baby gifts etc. These are items of desire, not necessity, but make great gifts! I pretty much drool over the entire store…

I pretty much always find the perfect little something for gifts here. Their selection is unique and covers a range from classic to funky. I have bought my mum several presents here over the years and am hoping that when this Mother’s Day gift arrives in the mail she’s as happy to receive it as she has been all the others. I often get surprising deals too. Towards the back, just before the kids section, there’s a little nook with a shelving unit where they keep their sale items. I’ve discovered many little treasures there from leather flower brooches to fun-​coloured tights and even shoes. I find their prices are reasonable for the quality of what you’re getting too. Its name is well-​deserved. There’s a treasure chest of fine finds for sure!

This is often my first stop for gifts when someone’s birthday rolls around. I love the jewelry, the décor, the clothing, the purses… actually pretty much everything in the store! The staff are always super helpful and wrap your purchase up in leopard print paper if it’s a gift. I have found many unique, affordable things (they also have lots of pricey things too if your budget is bigger than mine!) and it’s the perfect place to treat yourself on payday.

Remember that part in Disney’s Aladdin where the desert sands morph into a huge lion’s head that says something about «a diamond in the rough?» OK, so maybe Yaletown isn’t exactly a «rough» neighbourhood, but if it were, Fine Finds would be its hidden gem.
Don’t be surprised if a quick peak inside the store transforms into a trendy-​yet-​affordable accessory purchase, must-​have clothing cop or cute stationery grab. The items in Fine Finds are as eye-​catching as they are irresistable — and they won’t necessarily cost you a lion’s share. (See how I did that? Years of practice, my friends. Years of practice.)

A girlfriend and I went to find something fine after a lunch at Glowbal restaurant in Yaletown and we loved this little store filled with super cute, clothes, shoes, hats, lingerie, bags, scarves, jewellery and home accessories. They carry hard to find brands and local designers, Simplicity candles, room fragrances, Sugaerlime jewellery — it’s all so pretty. Canadian designer Kersh also makes a debut. I really feel like a princess if I were in Disneyland at the enchanted village. Soft, pretty and pink things dominate, in high-​style, of course.
