The ONLY PLACE you should go to repair your Apple Mac pro!!! My Mac pro with retina screen, the newest version was broken down by water. Apple store asked me to pay CAD2000 or change to a new one. Then I find a repair store in crystal mall, holy shit!!! they charged me CAD280 and give me a half repaired Mac back and a week long. I was so worried, and I searched online (I am so regretful that I didn’t do research before) then I found FIXMAC! they just spent only 2 days and give me a like brand new MAC! I am so impressed ! they are so great!!! I just spent CAD280. SO PLEASE PLEASE GO HERE! they will help you save time and money!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I just want to start by saying Jack was fantastic! I had spilled coffee over my VERY expensive MacBook Pro (i7, 16GB, 500GB SSD etc.) a few days earlier. The liquid slipped into my speakers and the base of my retina display and fried the entire monitor so that it wouldn’t even start up. I was freaking out as it was near exams and I desperately needed my laptop for any sort of functionality so out of desperation, I brought my MBP to an apple store (since I purchased just over 1 year ago, I was out of warranty coverage) — the repair was going to cost me almost $ 1,200. They actually recommended that I buy a new MBP all together. For the specs that I was running at, it would have cost me over $ 2800 with tax. I wanted a second opinion.
Jack took the computer in, did a FREE diagnostic, and said that if he couldn’t fix it, I could take my laptop back and not pay him anything. After his diagnostics, he told me that it would only cost $ 640 to fix everything (Retina display replacement & I/​O Board). I was skeptical at first due to the huge price discrepancy, but I trusted him… and rightfully so. He did an AMAZING job, my MBP feels good as new, and I have no issues at all!

Highly recommend these guys. Fast and price was very fair to fix keyboard on my MacBook Pro. I was pleasantly surprised a shop had the parts on hand and was able to do it right away– like magic!

Brought my MacBook Air in when I started having horrible connectivity issues. The guy here was super friendly and responsive and recommended we wipe the hard drive. I got my laptop back within one day and the cost was $ 50 and they even backed up my music for me. Highly recommend these guys if you don’t have Apple Care anymore. Much faster and cheaper than taking it to the Apple Store!

After having horrible service from another store I stopped in to Fixmac as they were the only place still open after 6pm. What a lucky break! The customer service was amazing and they resolved my Mac hardware Issues immediately.

It’s Sept. ’13 and my ’07 Macbook Pro «died», or became seriously ill. The screen faded out to bluish white in about 30 seconds. So, I took it to XXX for a diagnostic, an «authorized» mac repair center in the US. After a week they tell me it needs a new screen ($ 250+ labor) and a new logic board ($ 250+ labor if they can get it at all). They charged $ 45 for the diagnostic.
I’m not happy with this, roughly a $ 1000 repair bill on a 6 y.o. computer. Researching I found
in Vancouver B.C. I sent it to them. After one week they said, «Your logic board has been fixed by replacing a few major chipsets, but we found out that your LCD monitor is not working properly. We can change your LCD as well to make it working 100%, the total cost will be $ 280, (180 for the board, and 100 for the screen).» And they sent it back to me post paid, next day delivery!
And, very good communication. They told me when they received my computer, kept me advised about when to expect return, and they were right on time. They only took a week to fix it.
