Had a hankering for shaved ice dessert. Been to Ice Pik Shavery so to be fair I thought I’d try this place. I’ve passed by quite often because it looks unclean from the outside. But once inside it is warmly decorated with a modern clean design. I had the shaved ice with mochi, grass jelly and taro paste and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was delicious and not too sweet. It was a decent size for $ 7.50. I enjoyed this guilt-free. I shared a black sesame soup and mango pancake. This must be the best sesame soup I’ve had because it was thick, smooth and not too sweet. Most places are too thin and saccharin. The mango pancake was a surprise. It’s basically fresh mango and whipped cream wrapped in a crêpe. It was very delicious and, again, not too sweet. But at $ 3.50 it seemed too small for the price. But then again, it appears that everything is fresh and made from scratch. Because I took awhile to pick from the menu I want to go back to try other dishes. A bonus: the bathroom is extremely clean and there are notes around telling patrons not to be messy. So don’t squat on the toilet seat girls! Not only is it peasant, it’s disgusting. I highly recommend this place if you don’t want to eat overly sweet shave icy.

Opened couple month ago. Clean interior. Dessert is decent. Taiwanese and Hong Kong style desserts. Good place to sit and chat with friends.
