History

Established in 2009.

With the economy in recession, business owner Janine Jankowski wanted to do something a little bit different in fashion retail. Inspiration for the business’ concept actually came from an emerging trend in restaurants — or rather the ‘anti-​restaurant’ or ‘secret supper’. These underground, pop-​up restaurants would carefully select their clientele and operate out of a secret location, usually for one night only.

This business model ranked undeniably high on the Cool Scale and could easily be adapted for retail so the idea for Fresh Out was born.

Janine ‘Jammer’ Jankowski is a frugalista that lives for the challenge of looking great for less. She prides herself on original fashion and unique ideas for creating looks that allow you to stand out in a crowd. All the items carried by Fresh Out are lovingly hand selected by Janine personally. Her goal is to share her fun sense of style with you at an affordable and guilt-​free price!
