Established in 2008.
In 2008, Ash Sharma and Jimmy Arora opened the doors of Global Carpets and
Hardwood Ltd. to offer Lower Mainland residents and businesses a superior full-service
experience for their carpeting and hardwood needs. Global boasts a 10,000 sq. ft
showroom filled with the finest quality and highest value flooring — the widest selection in
Vancouver. Prior to opening Global, the pair had been longtime co-workers at another company in the flooring industry. Based on their combined experience, they recognized a need for a new kind of flooring resource in Vancouver. One with a broader selection, more professional installations, and a higher level of customer service.
