We are the only Spanish school in Vancouver that specializes in teaching only Spanish.

We offer group classes and private lessons to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Spanish classes are offered to adults, and Spanish private lessons are offered to both children and adults.

History

Established in 2008.

Hola Spanish Centre was founded by native Colombian Aida Riano in 2008. After seeing the need for Canadians to learn Spanish, she developed a program that teaches all elements of the language through conversation in a fan and relaxed environment.

Today, Hola Spanish Centre has helped thousands of students through a variety of Spanish courses from beginner to advanced levels, get prepared for their travels through group classes, private lessons, tutoring and workshops.

Soon after arriving to Canada from Colombia in 1998, Aida started teaching Spanish, as per her education in linguistics would entitle her. She begun to realize that most of the academic books she was using seemed a bit overwhelming for her students, so she decided to create her own books and make them as simple and efficient as possible, so students would

learn useful vocabulary, grammar, and conversation in less time. It was a complex project that took her about 7 years to complete. Today her workbooks,

in 9 different levels make the core of Hola’s program.

Aida’s passion for the language and Latin American culture as well as her love

for teaching is what has made Hola a unique place for learning the language.

Her vision from the beginning was to make her students experience the richness of her culture trough her classes, so they would enjoy learning Spanish in a

fun environment and get inspired to travel.
