History

Established in 1999.

Mr. Renn Holness Came to British Columbia from Nova Scotia in 1995 and began his practice of personal injury law in Vancouver.

In 1999 Mr. Holness established Holness Law Group and the team of personal injury lawyers have been prosecuting personal injury cases in the Supreme Court of BC and the BC Court of Appeal ever since.

Holness Law Group has never worked for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, ICBC and only works for the injured. Renn Holness and Holness Law Group have assisted Thousands of personal injury claimants suffering brain injury, spinal cord injury and many other injuries as a result of car accidents, slip and falls as well as medical malpractice. Mr. Holness has had trial awards cited in the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest.

I became a member of the British Columbia Bar in 1995. I have appeared before all levels of Court in BC including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. I am a lawyer in good standing of the British Columbia and Nova Scotia Bars and represents personal injury clients nation wide. I have settled hundreds of personal injury cases and successfully obtained millions of dollars for his clients.

I am experienced in representing injury victims in civil jury trials, and have prosecuted cases involving complex medical injuries. I have settled cases involving serious brain injury, spinal cord injury, psychological trauma, and has had trial awards cited in the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest.

My Personal Injury Law experience began at the law firm of Taylor, MacLellan & Cochrane, 1992. I am Graduate of the Dalhousie Law School the oldest university-​affiliated common law school in the British Commonwealth (now renamed Schulich School of Law).
