One star simply because of the location of the lot.
WARNING to anyone who wants to use Impark: When you go to cancel your monthly pass, they don’t refund your money. Instead, they charge you for the same month (adjusted), and THEN refund you the original cost you paid… except there are weeks in between where they have both amounts!
So we paid $ 300 for the month of June. When we cancelled May 24, they should have pro-​rated that $ 300, and given us back the difference (which was $ 70). INSTEAD, they have our $ 300, then charge us $ 230 for June 1 – 24 and THEN refund the $ 300. It’s been over 2 weeks and we’re still without our $ 300, which at least $ 230 of that should never have been in their hands in the first place!!!
The person on the phone admitted it made no sense, but said that was the process… Meanwhile I’m still without $ 300 which is a significant amount of money.

This company is heartless. Exceeding your parking time by less than 10 minutes during a medical emergency at a hospital resulting in a death in the family, and they still decline the disputed ticket. Shameful !

I parked at the Court House lot earlier this evening, May 24^th, parked in a Handicap spot, hung my Handicap Sign in the Windshield, paid for parking until 6:00 AM tomorrow.
When I returned at about 9:30 PM this evening, my car was gone. What??? I had to bum a ride home. I’m 83 years old.
Either Impark or the towing company stole it. What should I do?

No attendants to help if you have any issue. The phone number on the pay machine is for «medical emergencies only» and you’ll get someone with an attitude who hangs up on you mid-​sentence. I only got the «medical emergency» info after 5 calls and then got a security guard to supposedly walk 10 blocks twice (because he didn’t see me the first time) to let me out of the garage. I’d put and thus lost my credit card in the cash slot. NO ONE, not even the customer service dude in Calgary would call anyone to come open the dang machine so I could get my credit card. This is the service you get when employees are paid minimum wage to work the late shift. All the big wigs with keys cannot be bothered. This, my friends, is why UBER is valued at trillion dollars. CUSTOMER Service.

Sneaky company and make money on whatever they write you a ticket!

Lot1– 750 Pender. I paid for my ticket at 12:05 and was issued a parking violation for non-​payment at 12:10. Despite me taking some time to find the paystation which was hidden in the elevator lobby of the very bottom parking level, I was still was able to pay for my spot promptly. When I called in to dispute the ticket, I was on hold for a good 25min before reaching the poor girl operetor who canceled the violation after I screamed at her. I apologized that my anger was not directed at her personally but the heinous company she works for. i am never parking Impark again. Do they not know that parking is a dime a dozen in Vancouver with plenty of options because no one is crazy enough to drive to work downtown unless they are a CEO who needs a spot for his porche.

I am so glad that there is a review site for Impark ’cause I had a fight with them last year over a payment that I called in to make that I was assured that was put through and was not. The lady on the other end was extremely bitchy.

Guess at this time of year, it’s all about karma, esp. since I’m paying all the time, Unilocaling and eating at all these places ;)
Kudos for them a few weeks ago, heard on the radio that for any unpaid parking fines, that they’ll waive it so long you bring the equivalent to the Food Bank. Not sure how long this great PR stunt is, as I always overpay my parking anyhow, and donating throughout the year as well ;) (well, more for the united gospel)
Tech-​wise, it’s cool how they managed to integrate their pay by phone systems to City of Vancouver’s so you don’t need to re-​enter the same billing/​license plate info, etc. again…

After getting home and trying to pay online I fought with their ridiculous payment web page at
There is no true validation, if a field is wrong or is missing data you get an error message telling you to click on the back button but then the submit button stops working for your next submission.
The amount field does not indicate what format you need to type the amount but if you don’t include two decimal numbers it will flag it in error ($ 60 ticket has to be typed 60.00).
Complete garbage, you have to fill the form at least three times until you understand what the form really needs.
There is not much trust in the company if they can’t even get their payment page right. I’m glad I didn’t go in person to pay my ticket, I’m sure I would have lost my temper and let out a few truths about their stupid «organization».
One thing you have to get right is your payment page, why wouldn’t you make sure that works perfectly for a city of over 2 million people is beyond me.

I received a $ 80 ($ 40 if payed in 7 days) ticket for parking in a reserved lot. The problem with this is the signage for the lot wasn’t clear. The lot indicated at the entrance that parking was for staff AND customers. Seeing that I was a customer I felt that it would be ok to park there. Seeing I was a paying customer the lot was used for, I tried to dispute the ticket.
The lady on the customer service line offered to reduce my ticket to $ 45 which wasn’t helpful since the min. I would be paying is $ 40 and she said she couldn’t reduce it anymore. She suggested I make a claim online through their site. I went to the website and made a claim as suggested however NO ONE contacted me regarding this claim despite the you will hear back in «3−5 business days».
I went down to the vancouver office only to find out the office location only deals with monthly parking and that claims are only handled with on the phone. So after talking on the phone again to another customer service rep. The only option I was given was to pay the fine or put a notice on my file saying «im not paying», which in the end would mean they would take you to court. — I think id rather pay the bill at this point then hire a lawyer.
If you look at where the ticket $$ goes to, it goes towards paying the patrols who give them to you. Kinda sounds like if someone wants a payday they will just give you a ticket.
The fact no one contacts you prior to your 7 day cheaper fee is due, it’s feels like your forced to pay the smaller fee unless you really want to take the chance of someone actually contacting you about your problem.
So as a company, id like to say it has VERY POOR customer service, lack of information about their office locations on the website, and feels like they will find anyway to milk $$ out of people.
