Well my girlfriend can’t cook, she struggles with Easy Mac. Found myself wondering the streets of Vancouver trying to find a decent meal and stumbled across this place. Great food, made me momentarily forget that I eventually had to go back to her and eat her crap with a smile

Had the egg Benedict here. I wished they have the salmon egg Benedict unfortunately that is a seasonal special. So this winter seasonal special is bacon egg benedict. It was ok. not too bad. I had them add avocado and it was still ok. The portion is quite big but not for the egg benedict. I think most people come here order the waffle, regular breakfast or the pancake and those are seriously big. The place is a bit cold. Well staff are friendly and décor isn’t bad. I did enjoy my lunch here. It does seem like an eat and go place.

Always a good standard breakfast. Which you get basically exactly what you want. Nothing to fancy, just a simple meal no bells and whistles. And it’s done right.

This place is great for breakfast. It is consistently good and I always go for the basic, which is your classic toast, eggs, potatoes and your choice of meat. Make sure to add a pancake on the side, you won’t regret it! They are light and fluffy. The restaurant is always busy but the staff are quick and efficient which makes the wait not too long. They are also friendly and seem to enjoy being there. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back!

Decent menu, variety of options but no big standout items; however, the food was tasty! Good service, no wait and clean. I’ll be back.

Nice restaurant on Main Street by 14 ave. They have daily specials under $ 10 and are very good. Great service by staff and the food is good. Try their bacon & eggs breakfast, even burgers are yummy. Have a great day everybody

Joe’s is awesome. love the chorizo breakfast. I have always had excellent service there and amazing food. The patio in the summer is great and there’s a good shady spot on the end to tie up your dog!

Good solid well priced(I. e. pretty cheap) spot for breakfast. Good variety of egg styles Benny etc. waffles, pancakes and such. Nicely located near Main and 12th. What’s not to like? Not much but they could try real maple syrup, even for an extra charge. Oh and the service was pleasant and quick.

When I sat down to there was probably two other tables in the restaurant. It took 45 minutes for my simple breakfast to come out and it was very cold. I don’t mind waiting for food, but not cold food. I returned it and asked for a new breakfast that is hot. They brought back the same breakfast but didn’t add the bacon. Needless to say I won’t be back. I let the manager know I was clearly not impressed, who promptly did nothing. Main street has a lot of gems, don’t waste your time.

My old lady ordered garlic cheese bread. It was a fucking hot dog bun. Like a grade 4 ‘fun day’ fucking hot dog bun. It should have come with orange drink.

Sometimes you want a fancy brunch and sometimes you just want to go for something simple and delicious. Joe’s Grill is a casual diner that serves brunch as well as lunch items everyday. I usually get the eggs benedict since I can’t poach a proper egg or make Hollandaise sauce if my life depended on it. I decided on the eggs benedict with avocado and tomato. It was perfectly cooked with runny eggs and more than enough Hollandaise sauce. Props to the chef because it was made so well that I used it as dipping sauce for my potatoes rather than using Ketchup. My husband ordered the tuna melt and I usually sneak a bite, but I was too busy shoveling food into my mouth from my own plate this time.

LOVE this place. Our server was so friendly and helpful and she recommended the Veggie Hash, which my friend and I both enjoyed immensely. It came with toast too, which we were both thrilled about and they had good options(sourdough and rye, YES). It’s cheap too, but the quality is great. Will definitely be making this a regular spot.

I love Joe’s Grill because they make real egg-white only omelettes. I hate going to brunch places where you pay the extra for egg whites only, and your omelette comes back half the size because they took out the yolks but didn’t make up for it in more egg whites. Joe’s Grill gives you a proper portion. Breakfasts are always fresh and tasty, and service is prompt. Like it!

Catching a brunch spot on a weekend early afternoon is always difficult — but on the Sunday we strolled into Joe’s the never ending brunch search was a different shade of annoying! Everywhere on Main was packed and Joe’s was definitely not our first choice. But perhaps it should have been — we were seated relatively fast and the staff were friendly and attentive despite being full to capacity with a line out of the door. My pancakes were good. I order pancakes everywhere I go in search of the greatest pancakes — these were good but not the best I’ve ever had. All in all — it’s a solid spot for a bite for brunch, just be prepared to wait or be surrounded by lots of people.

I’ve always enjoyed coming to Joe’s Grill for brunch. There usually is a bit of a wait time to be seated, but we’ve never felt ignored despite them being busy. The food here is great if you’re looking for comfort food. My go-to favourite is «The Basic», which includes bacon, sausages, or ham with 2 eggs for $ 6.85(you can order half bacon, half sausages; but not half ham). It’s simple and exactly what I’m looking for in a brunch. The panfried potatoes that’s included? Oh god… makes me hungry just typing about it! So with such a positive review, why only 4 stars you ask? Well… Joe’s Grill is great, don’t get me wrong. It’s good for what it offers at a very reasonable price, but for some reason, it’s just missing that«oomph» or wow factor for me.

Slllllllllloooooooooowwww service in a half empty mini restaurant. 45 minutes and still no fish and chips. There are better choices on Main Street. Pass on this joint. I won’ return.

I had my misgivings about going here at first,(I used to go to the one on Davie years ago, but the food stopped being good, so I stopped going), but I was very pleasantly surprised. Good food, lots of choices, efficient and friendly service, and very reasonable prices. I had bacon and eggs which comes with potatoes and your choice of toast. I also ordered a side of sausage ’cause I was damn hungry, and a side of Hollandaise. I really liked the potatoes. They were real… not those vile deep-fried nugget things so many places serve these days(yuck!). The Hollandaise was decent too. Tasted like it was probably from a mix, but I’ve had way way worse. My man had the waffle combo, with bacon and sausage, both of which he really liked, but said the waffle was just Ok, and liked the ones I make from scratch way more(good!). My only disappointment was that the prices for booze were not good. I think it was $ 6.25 for a Mimosa, don’t recall the Caesar price. That’s a real bummer indeed. I guess I will come here for brunch, then go to the Five Point for their cheap Mimosa’s. If you don’t have weekend brunch booze specials, then I’m pretty much out. Sorry, but I’m not paying almost as much for a glass of cheap sparkling wine and cheap orange juice as I do for my breakfast. Like I said though, it’s right by the Five Point, so I’ll make an exception. Besides, it’ doesn’t really have a «lounge about and drink» vibe to it, and that’s some of what I want when it comes to weekend brunch places. It does have a patio though, so that’s a bonus. I’d rate this place 3.75 stars because of the lack of booze specials, but I’m feeling generous, cause everything else was pretty good, and I’ll be back for sure. Four stars it is!
