Chicken is still dry and fries were cold. The $ 5 fill up meal did fill me up, but my heart still loves Church’s Chicken. My KFC chicken was missing a few of the spices. Did they change the recipe? The fill up meal comes in four selections. I brought the two piece chicken with a slice of «buttered» beard, a cookie, small fries and a medium drink. It did fill me up, but with the flavourless dry chicken and the cold flimsy fries made me rethink my decision.

Another universal food chain… i seldom eat here coz im not a big fan of fried chicken… but since its tuesday and i know its cheap chicken every tuesday so i went… its called toonie tuesday but since i didnt visit for a while its no longer $ 2 for 2pc chicken and fries. its now morethan $ 3…well still worth the trip this location isnt so good if you are driving… very few parking and narrow and slanting, anotherthing it is located on a pedestraian controlled traffic light… meaning if no one will cross then its hard to turn left heading down town… a busy busy place… more on to go… they have few seats… maybe around 8 only… service is average specially on tuesday that all crew already looks exhausted at just over 1 pm in the afternoon… hahahahha…and the robotic kinda greetings…“hello welcome to KFC etc” very generic and still some made mistakes… hahahahhahah… i had 2 orders of the loonie tuesday… one is the classic and the other combo i got is the spicy mmmm i love it… once in a while fried chicken is good… those oil that drip in your mouth in everybite… hahahahhahaha sumtotal itwasnt a bad experience… and besides this is so near where i live… ill visit again maybe in a month or so… enjoy your chicken Unilocalers…

I am sorry to say that I have been to this KFC location many Saturday nights after taking drunk friends home in my car. They wanted some greasy spoon food and we came here ’cause it is what most drunk people crave. The food is aweful, that is what is expected but they do get a bonus star for being open late. Tables are never cleaned, filled at night with other young 20 somethings that are drunk. Customer service is okay. Service was slow for something called fast food. Maybe it is just the time of night we come in or maybe it is like this all the time. Even though the food is awful I do give it a few stars ’cause it is not easy to put up with the late night crowd and they seem to take it in stride.

OMG, this has gotta be the worst KFC in Vancouver! And they are absolutely shameless of the low quality food they serve everyday to the public. Every time I have ordered food from this location it’s been low grade and awful, not worth it at all. I question whether the chicken is even real chicken! And the 2 dollar salads come in tiny containers that only feeds one person, yet it’s supposed to listed on the menu as a medium size. Speaking of salads, the coleslaw which looks like it was ground up with a meat grinder tastes alright despite the way it looks and the lid on the potato salad removed some of the styrofoam container when it was opened. And the gravy, which used to be my favorite thing at KFC, is too thick and overly salted. No, this restaurant has too many flaws to have a need to return any time soon. Anytime I forget why I don’t like this particular location, I will just read my write up again to remind myself of how horrible it is.

When and in what world does«toonie tuesday» really mean $ 2.79? A toonie and a loonie does not make«toonie tuesday». Using that logic couldn’t everyday be «toonie _____»? If I see a sign that says«toonie tuesday» I’m looking to pay at most $ 2.24. I remember when KFC was Kentucky Fried Chicken and they served good fried chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes and biscuits. Remember when your Dad would come home with that big bucket and all those little boxes. Alas those days are gone and have been replaced with lazy, pre-packaged crap. The food is wrong and not wrong in a way that makes them good. I used to love you. But now I don’t. 11 herbs and spices, a secret that to this day no one knows. Did you know that they have different locations that mix different parts of the mix? Then those herbs and spice are sent to another location to get mixed again. What a waste of manpower. Why not spent that time making a better fried chicken?

I would like to thank the management at the KFC at 2190 Kingsway. I have been trying to break the habit of KFC. That store’s poor service, high prices, dirty tables and cold eating area have gone a long way toward helping me avoid KFC forever. Knowing I will never go to KFC again has made it worthwhile to get gouged more than $ 9 for a 2-piece meal with a chicken breast(for an extra $ 1.50) and a tiny side of mashed potatoes. Thank you so much.
