The HONEY DIP RAISED DONUT. It’s a must at the Granville Island Public Market.
We lucked out and got it when it was still fresh and hot. It’s delightful soft and sweet (but not overly sweet). Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve had a lot of donuts in my day, and to keep this short and sweet, these are the best regular glazed donuts I’ve had. Lots of places can claim more «creative» donuts, but this dough is just so light and soft it is a MUST stop if you are in Granville. Catch something to eat on the island and make sure to leave room to get some donuts at Lee’s, you won’t regret it.

I’m pretty picky about my doughnuts, but these are good! They melt in your mouth and leave your doughnut craving satisfied.
Buy a box and enjoy them hours later. They still taste fresh!

I’ve never been a donut person until I had a warm honey dipped donut from Lees. This was by far the best thing I had at the entire market. I even went back on my last day in Vancouver for more donuts. This is a must!

Hmm, I might have purchased the wrong ones but unfortunately, I didn’t think these donuts we purchased were that awesome.
They were good, but not out of the world amazing.
Ordered:
1) Honey glazed donut: ³⁄₅ tasted like a regular glazed donut
2) Sugar dusted donut: 2.5÷5 good, but I prefer the honey glazed donuts
A bit pricey IMHO, but I guess you pay for the steeper price in a touristy area.

Best donuts i have had in Vancouver so far, they were fresh, the right amount of chewiness and sweetness. Plus i appreciate they are charging what a donut its worth, not a whooping $ 4+ they charge you in some places here.

Coming to Granville Island Market around breakfast with the family, I knew I had to stop here for a donut fix! They’ve got a variety of flavors, your traditional stuff, some unique flavors, and filled ones too. I got to try pieces of the marble, the honeydew, and the apple filled. The marble donut was solid, great flavors and texture. The honeydew was decent, I wish that it was able to capture more of the honeydew flavor. The apple filled was quite tasty as well! If I came back, I’d do the apple filled again and try the honey glazed that the Unilocalers are raving about! At $ 2 a pop, they will definitely be a little more pricey than your chain store donuts, but these are quality donuts!

The donuts are very fresh and I have to say they are better than Tim Hortons. My firm had an event and ordered donuts for everyone so I got to try the mango filling one and the regular donut with sugar on top. The mango filling had the color but not so much for the taste. But is something different and special.

A couple of weeks ago I had some friends visit from back home (Los Angeles). We stopped in here and each got a donut. OMG! It was so good! Their donuts reminded me of donuts from back home! I had a double chocolate. Highly recommend this place if you ever visit Granville island! I’ll be back!

I struggle to figure out what the big deal with Lee’s donuts is. I had some and they were okay. Yes they’re fresh, however, in terms of flavor there was no wow factor and or originality in terms of flavors. Maybe I have been spoiled with some of the gourmet donut shops around the city that think outside the box. I will admit that their yeast donuts are really good, but once again, nothing really to write home about. Customer service was okay. Good prices.

BEST DONUTS EVER! These donuts are literally the best donuts I’ve ever tried. The one I tried is called the honey-glazed donut and it was so warm and soft. The person who made the donuts was very nice and made sure we liked them. Definitely a place to try while in Vancouver.

Lee’s Donuts of Granville Island made the best doughnuts that I tasted on our road trip to Vancouver, Canada. Better than Voodoo Doughnut in Portland and Top Pot Doughnuts in Seattle. Overall, one of the best donut places that I have ever visited.
All the donuts that we purchased tasted really good. My favorites were the Honey Glazed (Honey Dip) donut and the Chai Spice donut. Both of them tasted excellent. My timing must have been good because those babies were fresh, warm, soft, and oh so yummy! My taste buds were in heaven!
Yeah, the prices are steeper than the normal donut shop. Still worth it, though. I was just kind of disappointed that the taste of the donuts dropped dramatically the next day from what was left of the dozen we purchased. That’s okay… I’ll just make sure to eat them all on the same day during our next visit! Haha! So, make sure to drop in here when you are at the Granville Public Market!

Lee’s is among many Vancouverite’s favorite donut shops in the city and even though it’s not the most glamorous spot they do make quality treats. Lee’s makes their donuts fresh throughout the day but they run out quite quickly so if you’re lucky enough to get them when the donuts are fresh then I’m sure you’d enjoy these. Prices range from $ 2 — $ 6 and there’s a good variety. Personally I do enjoy the dough but the donuts overall aren’t anything special unless they’ve JUST been made.
If you’re at Granville Island and want something sweet and doughy then this is the place for you but I wouldn’t suggest going out of your way to get here.

THE best donuts I can find in this entire region of the continent. Back in the day, before people slapped frosting on bread/cake and called it a donut (looking at YOU, Top Pot Seattle), or put watery runny glaze on top of mass produced donuts, donuts were made the way Lee’s makes them today.
If you get there around 10 – 11 am, you can get fresh and hot donuts out of the oven. These have the soft and savory texture of a real, honest to goodness donut and they’re warm.
Come here and have a real donut that will make you swear off the nonsense other people fraudulently sell you as donuts forever.
