We use only the best colour lines and product lines for your hair. Our stylists specialize in making the clients look their best from colouring, cutting right down to the finish. We are with you the whole way.

Products we use are: Loreal INOA, DiaRichesse and Luocolour hair colour lines. Kevin Murphy styling aids and hair care and Loreal Professional. Established in 2012.

Life+Colour is brand new to the Chintown/​Strathcona.

We look forward to establishing ourselves in this great area of the city.

I’m really excited to be working in tre neighborhood. There are so many great businesses here and we can all benefit each other and work together to be sucessful. This is my first business and with over 10 years of hair experience plus being involved in educating young talent, I’m excited to bring my work style to the neighborhood I call home

My first Unilocal review ever!
After seriously damaging my hair from colouring + frying my hair accidentally with a straightener + general poor maintenance my hair started to break and was unable to even be styled. I’m from Toronto but was in Vancouver on vacation and Camia took me last minute.
Not only did she do an amazing job but she actually sat beside me and listened so intently while I explained what happened and how upset I was about it.
I never thought I would like shorter hair on me but I absolutely love this and keep getting compliments.
Thanks so much Camia for fixing my emergency and for your advice on how to maintain my hair going forward. I wish I lived in Vancouver so she could continue to cut my hair!

Rachel is seriously the best. She is very professional, friendly, and a perfectionist. She listens to what you want, and makes sure it’s perfect. I came into the salon with a very bad haircut from a different stylist. Rachel was very patient in fixing all the choppy layers, gave me the EXACT haircut I asked for, and gave me amazing colour! I highly recommend her to anyone. I will forever be going to Rachel!

As I was searching for someone to do my wedding hair and the hair of my bridesmaids, I saw a Groupon for Jaala Wanless for 3 hair cuts and styles. I messaged her and asked if I could buy it and use it for updos. She was so awesome and flexible with it that she said she totally could, but that it would be an extremely nominal $ 10 more per person. I added trial hair and make-​up application with false lashes (Jaala does it all!) and it was no problem.
She was so awesome and the whole experience was super stress-​free. When my ladies and I left, we felt like a million bucks. My bridesmaids even made a point of mentioning that it felt like they got just as attention as I did.
During the reception people couldn’t stop raving about my hair. And our make-​up and eyelashes lasted all night long in the extreme heat (it was one of the hottest days of the year). When I finally removed my eyelashes, all it took was a little warm water.
I would 100% recommend Jaala. She is an absolute professional and she knows exactly what she’s doing.

An cuts my hair. She has been cutting my hair for four years now and every cut I have had from her has been stellar. An has amazing technical ability, years of training and a great eye. She is the first stylist I have ever had who I tell «do whatever you want.» I trust her completely. She has a great sense of style and intuitively knows exactly how to cut my fine and thinning hair to look stylish and full. As well, her haircuts grow out amazingly well! In short, I would highly recommend An: you will get 5 star value for your money. She is the best stylist I have ever had!

Patsy Hart hair color specialist…5 stars! The only person who I’ve trusted my hair to for yrs. As with many brunettes who hate red/​orange undertones that come thru, she works her magic and voila I just got med ash blonde highlights and dark ash brown all over-​no red/​orange peeking thru! Love it

I’m a hairstylist that moved to Toronto about a year ago and Candace is still the only lady allowed to touch my hair. I am insanely picky and she always gets it perfect! She actually listens to what you want, a very hard quality to find in a stylist. She’s extremely knowledgeable with colour and very precise with her cuts. If you aren’t quite sure what you’re looking for, she’s full of amazing creative ideas! Long haired ladies, ask her to ‘cross the street’, you’ll love it! Trust me. Though that is my absolute favourite cut, I was in Vancouver for a visit a few weeks back and decided it was time for a change. She did a super long vintage style middy cut on me, think Veronica Lake. Absolutely gorgeous! Best stylist in Vancouver for sure, and forever my only stylist. Oh yeah, she’s hilarious too.
