I came here to get some lemon herb marinated chicken, 7 pack for $ 16. A little pricey but decent. I appreciated the service ’cause I needed to know if the marinate was gluten free. They have a binder that lists the ingredients and allergy awareness which was very appreciated. Things are $$ here but you can taste a bit of quality difference.

I am not a huge fan of prepared foods but sometimes I like to have a few things in the freezer for those times when I want something quick but I don’t want to go out to dine. Some of my M & M favorites include: Turkey Meatballs, Salmon in Dill Sauce, Applewood Smoke and Maple Salmon and the Buffalo Chicken Kabob. They are fairly tasty, reasonably priced and above all, convenient. A downside is how the stores are set up, most of the merchandise is in freezers behind counters in nondescript packaging. If you want to see what the food looks like you have to rely on one of the catalogues by the cash register or the sales flyers on the counter to see the picture of the prepared food. This particular franchise is well run and has a friendly and helpful staff. Parking is in a private lot and M&M has a few spots for their exclusive use, but other parking spots are often hard to get because there are a lot of popular other businesses in this strip mall as well.

Best caramel appie ever — even that it’s frozen ;) Just bake it and add scoops of vanilla ice cream, yummy! Nice location on westside, lots of parking or if the lot’s full, there’s Arbutus street, & side parking too.
