We have bought so many fabulous dresses, boots, boys dress shirts, ski jackets, ski pants, books and toys at amazing prices. Friendly staff, and I drop stuff off to consign. Small store but great kids consignment shop.

Pleasantly surprised with this store’s selection of clothing. Found items for all 3 of my kids — 5 ye, 2 and 2 months old. Customer service was also really great.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this place. On the one hand, they do often have what I am looking for, whether it’s snow boots, rain coats, books, or board games. On the other hand, it’s not the most organized, the staff have never offered to help me find something(even with hands very full of baby) and some of the prices seem very close to what the item would cost new.

Great little consignment store in a residential area. Packed to the brim. Always find gems for the kids in my life and at reasonable prices when on sale etc.

MacGillycuddy’s is a great consignment shop. Everything is gently used, and there is an amazing range from brands like gap, gymboree, and mexx to European designer brands like jacadi, deux par deux and burberry at a fraction of the cost. In addition to the fabulous clothes, you can find all sorts of books, toys and games. The employees are always happy to help with any questions you might have. Consigning with them is super easy too! And they let you take a look at your account any time you want, so I get to see what items have sold so far, and which ones are still out on the floor! I’m so glad that my kids are young enough that I have many years left to shop here! :)

I LOVE this store! Always friendly, courteous service and they have saved my hide a few times. Having someone close by that I can swing by and find boots that fit when my kids have suddenly out grown theirs and we are are on the way to the pumpkin patch is one example. Great selection and the clothes –and boots ;) — are alway in great condition.

MacGillycuddy’s is an amazing childrens’ consignment boutique in the Dunbar area. The store is cozy and full of hidden gems. You can find current brands that are like-new or still have the tags attached at amazing prices. European brands scatter the store too and makes everyone squeal with joy when discovered, including myself. Must have toys come in regularly… who needs to buy full retail price? There is usually a sale of some percentage occurring too, which can become dangerous! The sale associates are helpful, professional, and cheerful; if you want your account checked, they get right on it! One of the best things, I find, is the constant chatter that flows through the store amongst the shoppers, consigners, and the sales staff. Everyone loves to chat and it makes shopping at MacGillycuddys a destination always.

It is unwise to do business with a company that does not maintain records or provide receipts. When I dropped off clothes at this business for them to sell, they did not provide me with a record of the transaction. Further, they told me I need to follow up with them to see if the clothing sold or not. When am I to follow up, I asked? They said to give it a few months. I am sure by then I would have forgotten what I dropped off — or would not recall what is left to sell — causing me to keep having to call this company. You might as well donate your clothes to a charity.

MacGillycuddy’s is my go to place for kids’ consignment clothes. I always find great deals on a variety of items from dresses to sweaters to shoes to snow gear. I love the beautiful navy pea coat I found for my daughter here. They have some items that can be hard to find like pajamas, dance gear, and rain gear. In addition to clothes, they have a selection of toys and books. The kids’ play area at the back of the store is much-appreciated as I’m often shopping with my children.

A huge selection of consignment kids’ items at great prices. Really great prices. Hilfiger baby dress for $ 12? Yes, please! NWT Gymboree sweater dress for $ 12 but tag reads $ 42.95? Yes, please! I love browsing the amazing selection and great prices here, with adorable shoes and coats and other accessories, plus new and gently-used books about and for babies and kids, and — right now — Halloween costumes! The ice cream cone costume almost stole my heart right then and there… I always, always find something to buy here, and by «something» I mean a whole set of whatever(dress/sweater/shoes). It takes careful browsing, but I generally only have to pick up a coordinating onesie or something like that to pull together yet another adorable outfit for my baby niece. There is also a play area in the back for kids to amuse themselves while you shop(very smart idea there!). October Challenge 24⁄31
