We provide a personalized, lower-​cost alternative to DJs for events. Often events require professional music but don’t call for a DJ. We supply one of our iPods loaded with customized playlists for any wedding or event. Our clients love the service because we’re less expensive than a DJ, and they have full control over the music and get exactly what they want.

FOR BUSINESS

We help optimize companies’ brands through song selections customized for their business.

FOR PEOPLE We reconnect people with their love of music by transforming their iPods with new music and customized playlists. We also provide iPod help and tutorials. We’ve been able to bring many iPods ‘back from the dead” and help our customers use and enjoy both their iPod and their computer music collection.

History

Established in 2007.

MixedTunes was founded in 2007 by two former software executives. One, a renowned music geek and ex-​drummer of a Vancouver indie band from the 90s who was always being called upon to customize iPods for his friends’ personal and business use. The other, a communications and marketing guru who knew a good idea when she saw one!

Together they rounded up other music experts — djs, techies and other music aficionados — to form MixedTunes and bring personalized music services for individuals and businesses such as spas, restaurants, retail stores, events, medical offices and more. Figuring out that perfect song mix for your lifestyle — or a set list that will keep those customers coming back — is what makes us tick. Music is what we do. All you have to do is press play.
