History
Established in 1997.
More on the Floor Entertainment was established out of a love of impacting people through music. We can’t all pack the biggest arenas or win Grammys with our musical talent… but we can feel like we are that close to stardom with the right music, surrounded by friends, family and even complete strangers. Music brings people together (cliché)…the right DJ keeps them together.
Meet the Business Owner
Geoff S.
Business Owner
Geoff, the owner and operator of More on the Floor Entertainment, has been a recording artist and performer since he can remember (and amnesia is not a factor). He has performed across Canada and in some of Vancouver’s most iconic venues, such as The Fabulous Commodore, and on Much Music.
Geoff got into DJing as a way to extent his love of music beyond creating songs and into sharing the songs that impacted him and discover new music along the way. They say we lose our ability to discover and appreciate music in our 30’s. Geoff deliberately set out to defy that belief and keeps his ear to the ground, embracing new styles and recognizing that great music is always waiting to be discovered.
