My Favorite Nails Spa

Came back for a shellac manicure and will not come back. She cut my cuticles too short and my thumb started to bleed. Then she said it was my fault for not doing manicures often enough! One nail is also peeling a bit and it’s only been a week. Very busy place for pedicures so maybe that’s what this place is good for.

This place has always been a go-​to destination for my friends and I when we want to organize a group outing — with advance notice they can easily handle bachelorette parties or groups of friends wanting to get together to pamper a new mom. They give an amazing pedicure — wonderful massage with hot stones and delicious tea — and are so nice and friendly with great massage chairs. I took my daughter (4) once with my mom and sisters and didn’t even realize until they offered, but they give a super cute little girls pedicure for cheap. My daughter was thrilled and beaming about it for two whole weeks. Today they went above and beyond however, as I took my infant daughter, expecting her to sleep the whole time during a pedicure, but she woke up bored and cranky. The owner cuddled and bounced and loved on my baby for over an hour, and kept insisting I needed a break and she would take care of her, no worries. Amazing service!

This was my absolute favorite nail spot ever! My gel manis would last me nearly 3 weeks and never chipped off. I only had to go back because of grow out. The ladies here are so accommodating and very friendly. The pedicures are the best, nice massage, good scrub etc. And just when you think it’s over they bring out the hot stones for more massage. Amazing. I’ve moved away and now I really realize how amazing they are as I have yet to find a place with such great service! I usually had Jennifer (or Helen who’s been on maternity leave) or Vivian. But honestly, they all work really hard to make sure you’re happy. In the couple years I went there (every 3 weeks) I was never disappointed.

I absolutely love the staff at My Favorite Nails. This salon is always busy so make sure you make an appointment. I have been going here for 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. They also have a special every day of the week advertised on their website. For example on Thursdays the Shellac nails are $ 20 and its only $ 5 to add a manicure. My nails are always perfect and last several weeks without any chipping or breaking.
This salon has a wonderful reputation in the neighbourhood which is probably why it is always busy. These ladies work hard and are very friendly and good at what they do.

After reading such positive reviews on Unilocal I knew I had to try this place out. I went today for a pedicure and a full set of acrylic with shellac and was not disappointed. First of all this was hands down THE BEST pedicure I have ever had, not to mention the price was so reasonable. They spent the perfect amount of time exfoliating and massaging my calves and feet. They also used hot stones which was heavenly! The lady who did my nails was so fast and they look amazing! I am beyond thrilled with this hidden gem just minutes from my house. I’m a dedicated patron of this shop, faithfully paying a visit every two weeks to change up my shellac nail polish.
They have specials every day (FYI: shellac polish is only $ 20 on Thursday’s!) and the ladies who help you are incredibly professional and make sure you’re happy with everything from your nail shape, to the colour of the polish you choose.
I’m a huge fan of Jennifer and Lisa’s work.
Their pedicures are awesome as well and the massage chairs are a definite bonus.

Great salon, clean, excellent selection of nail colours and shellac colours. What I really liked was the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend them; all the girls did a good job. (I went with two other people.)

Just went last night with two other friends for manicures. We all opted for shellac and were pleasantly impressed by their quick service, competitive prices and a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of colour options. Unfortunately, we didn’t get their names; and it looks like one lady actually is not an esthetician but has helping out removing colour and giving the hand/​arm massage. All of our nails are neat, the shellac was well applied and looks great. I wish their English was a bit better as we did have to ask them to repeat things a few times. Otherwise, we’ll definitely be going back.

First time coming here and it was a great experience! I was immediately welcomed and brought to a massage chair with a foot soaker. They have a ton of nail colors to choose from including gels. All the ladies were super nice and made me feel very comfortable. The price was quite good for the area and I love the way my nails look. I will definitely be coming back! :)

Cindy is great. The place is clean and organized. Lots of colors to choose from. Really good new massage chair. Great job all in all. Oh and awesome massage.

Best nail salon in kits by far! The ladies that work there are very friendly and remember repeat customers. They always do a great job and one of the best and most relaxing pedis I’ve ever had. I’ve been to lots of nail salons in the area but this is the only one I have actually liked and wanted to return to.

Every time I’ve gone for acrylic/​gel nails or a manicure Cindy has done an awesome job. It took awhile for me to find a nail salon I really liked and I haven’t been to any other for over a year after going to My Favorite Nail Spa.
The girls working there always remember the regulars and are very polite, curteous and a big thing for me, clean. I can’t think of anything they could be doing better, prices are also very reasonable especially for the neighbourhood.
