Good if they make it fresh, but… going in several times at opening of the day, they have only a few random slices there. That means they are using the slices leftover from the night before, before cooking anything new. Yuck.

Oh my this place was delicious! I had the Waikiki and my family had a cheese pizza and lasagna! Very filling and had left overs for breakfast! The staff at this place were fantastic! If you’re in the west end of Vancouver stop in for a slice or a whole pie!

Okay, so we thought we would get a pizza to go so that we could bring it to the park and have a sunset picnic. We got to the park and were looking forward to our pizza. To our disappointment, the pizza dough was under cooked and it was a «flat» crust pizza. I thought this might happen to a full crust pizza, but a flat crust… wow. The pizza as a result was horrible and we didn’t eat much of it. I called the pizza store the next day and told the manager of our experience. He was nice enough and said that he would replace the pizza when I decided to call in the next time. So I was happy with the service I received the next day and I will alter this review once I have another pizza by Nat. Perhaps this was a one off… Stay tuned.

We have been eating at Nats for 20 years and eating at the one on Denman Street since the day it opened we are both from New York this is the only pizza we will eat in this town the rest of the food is incredible love the spaghetti and meatballs I love the lasagna chicken parmesan hero meatball hero and the pizza here is not only terrific it’s the only pizza in this whole city that a real New Yorker would touch or eat. They deliver or you can eat there the food was terrific and tell that guy who said a slice was cold why didn’t you just give it back to them and have them put it back in the oven for another minute or two stupid that’s the difference between New York in Vancouver we’re not stupid

For $ 3.50 a slice it’s a bit not really worth the amount you get. Also when I got my pizza it was cold.

I love Nats!!! The crust is super light and chewie! The toppings are always fresh. My go to is the margarita pizza and I absolutely love it. The sauce is perfectly balanced. The cheese is the perfect amount. Yum!

This is a great pizza place! It was just around the corner from Coast Plaza Hotel, so convenient and so yummy, we ate 3x here! They also do a delicious Caesar salad, garlic bread and lasagna. Decorating really nice with fun NY theme.

Toooo. Good. Traditional thin crust Italian pizza meets full-on topping New York style for a match made in heaven. Made me want to watch a baseball game. And I don’t even like baseball. Authentic. Super reasonable price– out of the ball park, baby! Pepperoni rocked it. Friend had pesto artichoke. Both made a home run!

Beware of any pizza place that does not have a small or medium sized pizza: it’s a good indication that they fear that if they did have the smaller sizes, we the customers would only buy the smaller sizes lol This pizza was not terrible but it wasn’t good either. It wasn’t greasy but it was quite dry I can still feel the flour on my hands. There was barely any sauce though the sauce seemed fresh. The salad was pre tossed(my fault because they did ask me) so it was soggy. Oh and the sundries tomatoes were dry. Yes they are sun dried lol but. They usually should be soft.

traditional pizza by the slice is done by cooking an entire pizza, then leaving it to slowly get cold as people order off it. Great if you get there in time for the pizza to come off the oven– not so great if it’s been sitting long enough to harden into leather. Nat’s solution is to leave the pizza sit out and cook individual slices off it. Not a bad idea… IF the pizza was properly chilled(refrigerated) while sitting. Else– you’re looking at a veritable smörgåsbord of bacteria cultures growing on the pizza, which cooking maybe kills some of, but not all. Still, it’s a great idea Nat; even if your concept needs a little tweaking.

Fantastic New York style thin crust pizza. The original Kits location started in 1992 and this Denman location came in 2000. I can’t believe it hasn’t been added before now? Friendly staff & great food that’s not just limited to Pizza.

Here is an extremely overdue review. A slice of New York(pardon the pun) on the streets of Vancouver. A very New York Style Pizzeria serving the regular and«any topping you can think of» pizza. While we only visited them once I am happy to say that their slice was HOT… medium crust, not too doughy and plenty of cheese, delicious. I often wonder how a Vancouver Pizza Place prepares a better slice then some New York/Long Island pizza parlors. If you’re visiting Vancouver and just want a quick pizza fix, this is definitely the place to go. They were located only a few blocks from our hotel(The Oceanside Hotel,) and within walking distance of waterfront.

its close but not close enough. when we walked in and asked for a slice they said it would be about 15 minutes. one thing every«NY Pizza Joint» has to have ready at all times is a plain cheese pie. if a customer wants pepperoni you take a cheese slice and top it and pop it in the oven for two minutes, wa’la a pepperoni slice. that’s how they’ve been doing it since I was a kid. when I got the slice it looked alright. first thing I noticed the dough was undercooked because it was a little on the pale side, the guy took out the pie too soon. a true nyc slice needs to have that golden brown crust mixed with a little blackened well doneness from the oven, and when you bite into it, it needs to be a little crispy and doughy at the same time not just doughy. if you don’t hear a little crack once you fold it the dough is undercooked. the sauce wasn’t too bad and the quality of the cheese used but like the dough the cheese could’ve spent more time in the oven. I’ve had worse pizza in other cities and Nat’s wasn’t too bad, they just need a little tinkering. also it doesn’t help when people walk in and ask for a Hawaiian slice. good god!

Nat’s and I go way back. I have a soft spot for this place. An 18-year old me would have happily skipped on down any day for a $ 5 slice of the mushroom, beef and bacon. Today, an economically conscious me says«no, not anymore». With the abundance of pizza selection in this city, on this street, and on this block alone, Nat’s faces fierce competition that offers equally fresh, delicious pizzas at much lower prices. Long story short, it’s a lot of money for not a lot of pizza. If you enjoy the thin crust, and believe that you should be paying extra for extra thin crust… you’re gonna love this place! But for me, presently, Nat’s and I are nothing but ex-flames.

knowledge is power So their story goes. Two brothers went to NYC, New York to learn a century old family secret. Then they brought it — Nat’s Pizzeria New York — to Vancouver. The lengths people will go never ceases to amaze me. I’m all for going above and beyond, because it shows in the product: their pizza is really good. A great slice. That simple. My favourite pizza is margarita. If you can make a mean margarita, it’s likely everything else is as good.

PIZZAMONSTERALERT. Nat’s is the place to come for a thin crust pizza with spicy meats. Today I HAD to come in to kill the pizza monster craving in my mind. Nat’s always delivers. It’s not cheap, but it’s always good pizza, man. g

I enjoy thin-crust pizza, and this place didn’t let me down. I ordered pepperoni(I know, not adventurous) to-go, and took walked a few blocks down to the beach in the Summer. It was the easy and casual version of dinner on the beach. This place offers a nice selection of 7-ish types of pizza at any given time and the wait isn’t long at all.

To be honest, I did think twice before trying this place. $ 3 pizza is not exactly cheap for downtown, considering that places such as Megabite are all over the place. But I am very glad I decided to take the path less taken. The place looks like any other mom + pop joint from the outside. Inside were some chalkboards with their specials. The staff were friendly, and told me a bit about their pizzas. I ended up trying the Spicy Mushroom, and Meat Deluxe. The thing that stuck out the most about the pizza is that it wasn’t oily at all. Usually my plate is stained clear, but this one barely left more than a couple of drops. Also, it was very thin, yet satisfying. As for the venue itself, it’s a bit dingy, and you won’t find a table with more than about 4 seats. So don’t hold a wedding here. It’s not everyday that I say this, but Nat’s is worth the extra $ 3 or so you will spend. I can still taste the pizza now. Mmm.
