Description

Specialties

A cozy, historic brewhouse and lounge offering world-class but locally-sourced micobrews, wine on tap, affordable and delicious food and live music every night of the week including jazz, blues and piano.

History

Established in 1914.

With its foundation existing on the corner of Hastings & Dunlevy since 1910, Pat’s Pub & BrewHouse was originally known as The Patricia Café. At the centre of what was then downtown Vancouver, the Patricia Café was one of Vancouver’s jazz hotspots in the early 1900’s, hosting many of jazz’s most influential musicians. Most notable of these is Ferdinand «Jelly Roll» Morton who made Vancouver his home between 1919 and 1921.

Pat’s Pub continues to be home to live music every night of the week and in recent years has worked to rejuvinate the live jazz scene in Vancouver by hosting weekly free live jazz shows every Saturday afternoon. Whether one is seeking a delicious & affordable bite to eat, an evening of live music or a casual place to catch the game with a pint of house-brewed lager, Pat’s Pub & BrewHouse continues to be your best bet.
