Platinum Touch Auto Spa

I’ve had great service at Platinum Touch. My car hadn’t seen soap in about a year, and they got it sparkling! They do a good job at a reasonable price and the staff is friendly.

These guys scratched my truck from bumper to bumper and refused to do anything about it. I took my truck here to get washed and when I got home and took a close look at it I noticed that it was scratched from the brush they had used.
I called and spoke to the GM who said to bring it in so they could look at it and that if they scratched it, they’ll fix it. I spoke to the owner when I showed up and he showed me the brush that they used and how soft it was but there website says the vehicles are hand washed. I told him what the GM had told me and he said «F*** the GM, I am the owner». He didn’t look at the scratches and said my truck was old and not in good shape so they couldn’t have possibly done this. He said I was cheap and got a deal on the wash and should be happy because he could have charged me $ 50 more.
After going back and forth he finally said he would give me $ 100 to get out of his hair. I explained that I didn’t want the money, all I wanted was for my vehicle to be repaired from the damage they did. Instead I was told that my $ 40,000 truck was junk, I don’t look after it and that I was trying to pull one over in him. He told me he know «my type» and there was no chance he would ever fix it.
I would not recommend anyone ever going here because if something ever went wrong you would have no recourse. They do not wash by hand, they used a brush and it scratched the heck out of my truck. Save yourself from being insulted and just go somewhere else. No stars.

This place is interesting and pretty hard to give a fair review. It’s certainly not for everybody. It really is, in my opinion, a guys car wash. People smoke inside, the owner (s) loves nice cars (and UFC fighters) and the whole vibe can definitely be off putting. Honestly feel like I am walking into an east side boxing gym more than a car detailing business.
Still that said, I bring a 65′ vette here to get detailed during the summers and even the basic packages (~$ 30) offer a great cleaning (expect it to take up to an hour though).
If you have a nice car, PT is a solid choice. Personally, I kinda dig the rough around the edges aspect.

Didn’t do what they said they would do, didn’t follow-​up to fix issues, more expensive than advertised. Not a good experience. I won’t be going back.
