Rbc Royal Bank

The staff here are the worst! Specifically Camila Silva. I have had several disappointing interactions with her. Most recently I went in needing a new ATM card. I walk in holding out my passport and drivers licence and explain that I need a new ATM card but had less than 5 minutes or I’d be late for work. She then asked me for 2 pieces of ID (remember the part where I said I was already holding them out to her, why would she tell me that, why not just look up and take them). After 5 minutes had passed and I’m patiently watching her type 10 WPM I remind her that she said I could be out in under five minutes and how much longer will it be. She proceeds to tell me if I had an ATM card it wouldn’t take so long. UM HELLO?! I am there for a new ATM card. I told her that I find our interactions to be very frustrating and she replies «I could say the same thing». I’m sorry, but that kind of attitude is never OK. She obviously has little respect for the company and her job. She is rude, slow and does not listen. This does not even begin to explain how frustrating this branch is. AVOID IT! It is next to my apartment but I’ll go out of my way to another branch. The staff at Hornby & Nelson are wonderful, helpful, observant, and actually listen.

Terrible service at this bank and they are very unfriendly. I usually go out of my way to go to a different branch. There are a few staff here that are great so I feel bad giving 1 star but the staff that is bad, is so bad that it over rules everything else. I went in to the branch to deposit a cheque (thank god I kept the deposit slip) and they actually deposited it to someone else’s account. Then it took them 30 min to figure out how to get my money

I don’t do a lot of banking here but whenever I do the staff are great! They’re always very helpful and pleasant. If you actually need to talk to a person at a bank this team is good.

do not trust the map as to the location, it’s much farther away from bc place than this shows. I did tho get a good view of the construction being done on the stadium
