Stopped in for take-out burgers tonight after a long sunny day out and about… and was served well as usual. When I got there, I was told that they are closing permanently as of tonight. It’s been a stand-by takeout for us for years. Kind of fortuitous to get one of the last burgers here, ever. :)

The Chophouse burger I chose was really good, and cooked perfectly. I thought it was huge but then again I’m the type that can’t finish a big mac and fries. I did finish this burger because it was good. The fries are also standard but good, especially with their flavoured salt(labelled RR seasoning I believe) that was on the table. The service was great, and I was with a group of 15 but one waitress managed to adeptly handle us all. What would have improved my meal would be a plate. I would have preferred a plate instead of having my food served in a cramped plastic basket lined with takeout-burger paper. The burger is served side up, wrapped in paper but the problem with that is that some of the lovely sauce and cheese my burger came with ended up at the bottom of the bag at the other end of the burger, soaking both the top and bottom of the bun on the bottom side of the burger and making it very soggy. This made the burger more flavourful at the other end. I suspect the purpose behind the basket is to make it look like you have more fries than you really do because the fries are more«stacked» in the small basket whereas if you were given a decent sized plate the fries are more spread out so look more sparse. I’m sure this presentation is standard for each Red Robin restaurant. Also the crispy onions on my burger were good, but weren’t cut lengthwise so were very long and stringy which made it difficult to get a nice clean bite all in one go.

I used to eat at Red Robins a lot in the states but this was the first time in Canada. We really had a great time and the view is unbeatable at this location. Bathroom was clean and the staff was pretty great too. I would much prefer a Red Robin burger to Vera’s but the latter is much closer to our house. It isn’t the cheapest burger in town but the ambiance and view is worth the extra few bucks.

I work on the block so I’ve grabbed lunch here a couple times. Food is decent, bottomless fries are good but really how many fries do you need? Service has been hit and miss. Food sometimes takes awhile which can be a hassle when on a tight timeline at lunch.

I ordered the 5 Alarm Burger. At first I thought I might be crazy for ordering this, but I figured they couldn’t make it too hot considering that this is a family restaurant and making it completely spicy would benefit no one. According to the menu the burger has«Pepper-Jack cheese, jalapenos, tangy salsa with crisp lettuce, tomatoes and chipotle mayo». When our food arrived, I was surprised at how many jalapenos were stacked in my burger. Brian asked me if I was going to be okay. But, I love spicy food so I shrugged and took a bite. I was correct in my theory that it wouldn’t be too spicy, they do put a lot of jalapenos in it but I’m assuming the salsa and lettuce neutralizes the spice. I think the jalapenos in a Subway sandwich are more spicier than this burger — so, if you can handle that, you definitely can handle this. Our burgers were great, good size, the meat was fresh and every burger comes with endless steak fries.

Very reliable for a great burger and endless fries on any hangover day. I wouldnt trust them to make many different things as they have 9+ burgers on the menu and how could you argue with that. Ill go back again, than probably again. But only once every few months as its fattty

Can’t complain one bit. I had not been to a Red Robins in eons and finally went at the request of a lunch date with a friend. She really wanted Red Robins and who am I to say no to someone’s cravings. We had great service and the good was pretty good. We decided to share the Turkey Burger with Fries as well as the Mac N’ Cheese with Salad. We had mentioned that we would be sharing the dishes and when the server brought them out she had already had the dishes split in half for us. It was fantastic, half a burger and fries and then our own mac n’ cheese bowl with a side fo salad. The Turkey Burger was delish and the mac n’ cheese was quite creamy and tasty. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and server, she was great! She even split our bill in half for us. I think I may just go back to this location because of her alone.

What can you say or expect from one of these«photocopied, franchised eateries?» You know what to expect and we go anyways… I love the French fries and a bacon/cheese burger costs less than $ 20. Service is OK,(my meat was undercooked which is surprising for these«dine~a~re~as», I survived and I will go back, because for these two blocks of Broadway I have to. I have been to and have eaten at lots of places around here and other than Tojo’s everything else is m-eh. It will fill the hole, won’t hurt for too long and is as memorable as the last rain storm.

The view here is great. There are enough reviews of this chain restaurant to satisfy just about anyone. If you want to go and have a burger, and want to eat at a Red Robin, then this is the location you want to go to. It makes the whole experience(whether it is party, family get together, or whatever!) that much better and is very memorable. I have always had a thing about chain restaurants(not exactly all that positive in most cases) and this one stands out as one of the best that I have been to. The service at this location is a bit overzealous when attending to you, but, that is no problem… tell em to bring you more fries or something!

If you want to know what it feels like to slowly go into cardiac arrest, Red Robin is your kind of restaurant. For me though, this restaurant oozes sleaze and grease. From the crackhead across from me eating to the overly eager and creepily abundant staff, I can’t say I fully enjoyed eating here. Maybe if I had taken out I’d have a bit better of an opinion but still, in the end I felt like shit; plain and simple. I ordered the Red Robin Burger which is supposed to be their speciality. It’s a fatass combination of a huge beef patty, two pieces of processed cheese, a fried egg, lettuce, tomato, and onion. It comes with a healthy plop of mayo and a buttload of thick cut fries which seemed like they’re frozen, not fresh. In the end, I kind of enjoyed it and the first bite was really nice but halfway through I felt like I was gonna have a stroke. I could barely walk after completing three quarters of the burger and at that point, I quit. The person I was eating with quit after like three bites(light weight). Decent meal if you don’t mind the environment. Apart from crackheads it’s filled with annoying kids and loud families. The food is alright but there are better burger places especially in Vancouver. This place is also way too expensive for what it is and that is an annoyance… I understand it’s in a nice location but I don’t want to pay that much for a burger with fries. I’d be wary of this place if you’ve never tried it before; if not and you like it, all the power to you and your heart.

It’s way too close to where I live, and after a fun night out, it is the best place for a great greasy burger. I like the California Chicken Burger. So fattening!

burgers. delicious burgers. bottomless steak fries. strawberry lemonade. these are the only reasons why i come here. no, seriously. i actually like Red Robin in Canada better than the ones in the states. i don’t know why… the service, the food… everything is slightly better. i like the outdoor dining area during the summer, it’s quite nice.

While trying to decide where to take two coworker birthday girls, Red Robin was suggested and everyone yelled and clapped at the thought. Apparently I’m not the only one with fond childhood memories of this restaurant. We settled on this location as none of us had been here and it was close-ish to the office. The décor is their typical kitschy pictures from the 80’s and random carousal horses. We appreciated that no matter what location you go to, this is what you find. While we sat in the main dining area, we got a look at the patio and it looks fabulous! There’s a clear view of Yaletown and False Creek and would be beautiful on a nice spring/summer day. Will definitely be back just for that! We ordered freckled lemonades and our burgers and everything came out very promptly. The bleu ribbon burger wins over my heart each time and while the lemonade is suuuper sweet, it’s always a favourite. The only downside to it are the large pieces of thawed sliced strawberries that sit at the bottom of your twisted glass. With so much ice in each glass, there’s no way to get the strawberries out and so they’re wasted. We made a request for the usual restaurant birthday treatment and so when 8 servers crowded around our table and began to sing, we were thrilled. There were hot fudge sundaes for both ladies and extra spoons provided for us to sample as well. Red Robin gets thumbs up as usual for delicious food and fabulous service. Summer, here we come!

We ended up stopping here atfer 9 on a Sunday night. It was still pretty busy. Service was kind of slow — about 30 minutes before we had any food, although the drinks came nice and quick. We had wings and cheese sticks — nothing special, but still tasty and hit the spot. Molly

This is a great place to go when the kids are hungry because I’ve always found the service to be quick and efficient. There’s nothing worse than having to sit for half an hour with two starving boys acting up. The burgers are great and the thick-cut fries are pretty tasty. If you keep the order and your expectations simple, then you will not be disappointed. They have some unique touches with their burgers — the Stampede burger with crispy fried onion ‘straws’ is quite something.

Food is great and prices are good as well. Try the Chicken Parmesan, it’s great! Place isn’t the cleanest(eg. sticky tables sometimes), but the food and prices make up for it.

OK, Red Robin Canada serves up something the States Red Robin does not. Mile high cheesecake with strawberry & strawberry sauce on top. This is where my 5 stars came from. When me and my husband drive to Bc this is a sure stop for us. The food is about the same as the states, but I’m lovin the cheesecake.

If you’re a cheeseburger fiend like me, Red Robin likely holds a special place in your heart. The burgers here are very good. Service? Not so much. We sat on the outdoor patio, basking under the heat lamps and sipping a couple of icy drinks — including my rather delicious Bailey’s shake.(Note to self: ice cream before dinner, too filling). I ordered the bacon guacamole burger and found it a perfect balance of avocado, salty bacon, and hearty burger. I followed up my shake with a Sand in Your Shorts. A little too heavy on the ice. Service was sluggish. We waited to place our order, to order new drinks, to get the food. Not encouraging at all. I’d definitely re-visit this location of Red Robin: but I’ll tell you straight up it’s only for the burgers.

Although I’m not a huge RR fan, this was the place we ended up because A– I was starving, B– I was getting cold, C– they had a heated outdoor deck/patio that overlooked the city. I thought it was a fabulous experience. The inside décor was unique and intriguing and the service was wonderful– very friendly and prompt. A great sight-seeing burger joint in BC.
