Staff is excellent, with knowledge of everything you could possibly need. They are the only store who carries multiple types of breast pumps, and all of the replacement pieces in stock.
Every time I go in hey assess what I need and guide me in the right direction – even if that means a smaller sale that day. Amazing.
As a big plus, they carry a ton of nursing bras, and they know how to actually fit you in them. Finding a fitted sports nursing bra was a game changer.

I really felt like this place gave me a lot of attitude which is disappointing as they have fairly good reviews which was why I came here.
I had asked about a clothing set and wondered when they would be getting new stock in as I wasn’t fond of the colors that they had in the shop (I have boys and the colors were more girly). They said that they would put my name down on a list and call me. They said that they didn’t think they would be ordering any more of the size I needed as they had 2 sets in the store already (really? what kind of a retail store only stocks 2 of one size???)
I said no problem. Then they proceeded to say that they wouldn’t even call me if the 3T size I required didn’t even come into stock. Really?
Now call me cynical but I’ve been in retail for a VERY long time. I know when someone is twisting their story around to make me feel like my purchase feel more urgent due to the «lack of sizing» that they would be getting in. It’s a poor sales tactic which I’m sure would work on someone who doesn’t shop often. But because I know retail, I really didn’t appreciate someone trying to spin a white lie on me.
I appreciate honesty and will buy with those who are truly there to help.
I wouldn’t even buy at a place with such little stock in the first place. It just shows they have no confidence in what they are bringing in.

I know I have a shopping illness when I’m even walking into these stores lol. But again, the importance of displays I stress, proves my point: saw this diaper bag that I couldn’t believe that was made for!
But ah, Lillian sensed my interest in this Skip Hop brand, and my eyes just lit up when I saw the different pockets inside and outside, as well as the stiff bottom so it can sit properly. That’s more crucial than it sounds as when you have 2 laptops, a binder, menus, charging cables/​cords, the last thing you need is the bag falling over, or on the side, so I digress as usual.
They have an excellent 10-​year warranty against defects, so while not lifetime, it’s pretty darn good lol.
Great features like washable, waterproof and expandable water bottle. For $ 90, it sounds like a bargain compared to my Victorionox lol.
Rest of the store has a good bag of everything: baby toys, clothes, gadgets for strollers, kids knapsacks.

I love this store. The staff are knowledgeable and the range of products is amazing for such a little place. They have a nice little place under the stairs for the kids to play. They have a good range of shoes for babies and toddlers including my favourite brand pediped

Don’t let the storefront fool you — for years I thought Room For 2 was a cheezy kitsch baby clothing store, based on the odd display of novelty onesies in the window (you know the kind — «All mommy wanted was a backrub» and the like). In fact, it’s filled with a ton of high quality nursing and baby stuff. Especially the nursing bras — they have the best nursing bras ever. The staff are knowledgeable and super-​friendly — they’ll happily spend 20 minutes helping you if you need it, and they really know what they’re talking about. Their prices are a little on the high side, but not compared with other stores in Kits and Gastown that sell products of similar quality. So really, it’s great value for what you get, it’s just a little more high end than most places.

I love this place. It’s so crammed full that it can be overwhelming, but then you realize hey, this is the same stuff as the Kits stores, only cheaper (Crocodile, I’m looking at you). They definitely don’t focus on merchandising but the upside is that they have EVERYTHING I needed for my new baby. I mean everything. Their prices are really good for the quality they have. Sure, I can get cheaper onesies at Walmart, but I can’t get the same kind of quality. For exact items, their prices are actually pretty low. Their Medela stuff was cheaper than London Drugs (the lanolin and breast pads anyways).
The staff is so helpful. I usually hate interacting with staff but these girls genuinely wanted to help me. One girl talked me out of buying something, saying that because I was buying this other thing, I really didn’t need the other. Who does that? I left thinking that they really had my best interests in mind. I must have ended up there once a week at least for the first year of my baby’s life. Every time I hit a new stage, I discovered a new corner of the store that suddenly applied to me. It’s really weird.
I bought my nursing bras and breast pump there. They were so knowledgeable, and I found out over time, that they really were right. I was skeptical about a bra they suggested for me, but I did buy it, and about two weeks later, was so grateful for that bra, that I made sure to mention it to her when I was back in there. Same thing with the breast pump. They were so patient with all of my (I’m sure dumb) questions. I felt like I got a lesson. And based on my answers to their questions, they suggested the cheapest pump they had. Again, I was expecting them to push the higher end things, but they didn’t. They suggested things that would actually work for me. That’s really rare.
I could tell that they have a lot of people like me, who routinely go there for advice. I always end up there for half an hour or more, and always notice them talking to other people like they know them. Maybe they’re friends, but I think they just have a lot of dedicated regulars. I’m certainly one of them.

I’ve been here a few times to buy stuff for some of my friends who are having babies. I will admit that the stuff is über cute, colorful and cheerful. This is the advantage of having lots of friends pumping out lots of babies… I can spoil them in cuteness over this stuff. Prices are hit and miss but the customer service is awesome and friendly. My only complaint is that they need to have more kitsch pop culture like stuff IE: Zombie things.

For a tiny storefront, this place has a pretty great selection of baby clothes, nursing bras, baby carriers, swaddlers and cloth diapering accessories. It’s not cheap, but this stuff isn’t cheap anywhere else either. Despite the previous review, the customer service was just fine for me, but I did visit at a quiet time on a weekday.

I was very happy with their selection of nursing bras. I especially love the Bravado line which is why I went to the store. One of the girls working there was attentive and brought me different sizes as I tried them on in the change room. Her advice was good, but it’s not a place I felt like I could ask for an opinion on the bra fit. The store was also packed with everything for baby.
