We’ve used this place a few times. We have a high volume black and white brother printer that is supposed to get 1000 pages per cartridge. We usually pay around $ 75 at staples for a new cartridge, here we pay half of that. Out of 3 tries, it only worked once and I believe we had to return it to have it retoned because there was a problem-an inconvenience for us. We recently just brought our third toner back after having it filled because the printer was still registering«change toner». The manager stated that the fault was with our printer. We know it wasn’t. We recently realized we can buy these toners new at costco for a cheaper price than at staples. This place is unreliable and I think it’s a better value to buy new. We don’t recommend and won’t be going back.

*Part 1 — CARTRIDGEPRINTED30PAGESAFTERBEINGREFILLEDTHENRANOUTOFINK* I refilled my HP Printer cartridge at this place. I paid around $ 19 for the refill. The refilled cartridge ran out of ink after I printed my 30 page report. *Part 2 — CONFRONTINGTHESTOREMANAGER* So I went back to this place and told them what happened. The manager said that the cartridge I have only prints 100 pages max and if I had printed all the pages black, that 30 pages was a reasonable amount of pages. Firstly, I know for a fact the cartridge I have normally prints 480+ pages(it says so on the box). Secondly, I have never printed full black pages, I was printing a single sided, double spaced report. Even if I had printed full black 8×11 pages, I’m pretty sure there should be more ink than 30 pages available. The manager told me that Save On Cartridge Plus does not guarantee that the cartridge will not get damaged during the refill process. He then took my cartridge to the back and refilled it. He came back with my cartridge refilled and said he’ll give me a 10% discount for this re-refill I didn’t ask for. BASICALLY, he wanted me to pay $ 17 to fix the problematic refill Save On had done!!! That would be $ 38 for a HP personal printer refill. By this time, I was LIVID! So I asked him to empty the ink he just filled because I am not paying another $ 17 for the refill. He went back to release the ink while I getting angrier and angrier about the injustice. He came back with my empty cartridge and with words criticising how I must have mishandled my cartridge or was printing ‘pictures’. And somewhere in the middle of saying how Save On was not wrong, he decided to refill my cartridge again, but no charge this time. The cartridge refill had printed its 75th page this past weekend so it has lasted longer than the previous refill. Will I return to this place to get my ink refilled? No, the possibility of me paying $ 0.63 for each printed page($ 19 for 30 pages) and being criticised by the manager have scarred me for life. For now, I’ll be going to Costco for my refills.
