Great price and portion. We were so full! Ordered soup and rice noodles. Grilled pork and spring roll tasted awesome. We are totally gonna be regular now!

My partner and I have been here a few times and we stopped going anywhere else. The broth is super flavourful and clear, I always want to order something else but can’t. My partner likes to get the spicy beef satay soup. One time we went and the broth wasn’t as flavourful, but to me that just means you know it’s from scratch and not Msg ridden. Love this place!

This place has great rice dishes, which is the only thing I ever order here. I’ve had the phở once but I’ve never ordered it again after I had the lemongrass chicken. The phở is okay but there are other places nearby that serves better phở. Accepts debit and credit, there is free wifi but no A/C which is not the best during the summer.

I love this place. This is my to go place for Vietnamese crab and shrimp udon. They give you big chunks of crabs and it comes with a side of spring roll. Their rice dishes are pretty good too. Never had their phở so can’t comment on that. The owner is nice and checks in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. My only complaint is there is no AC in the restaurant.

Team Fam came here for dinner and I had the following: Phở Tai Nam Gan(Vietnamese rice noodles with rare beef, beef flank, and beef tendon)($~8.50) Spring Rolls($ 6) First off the noodles here were great. They had a chewiness to them and there was a good depth to the bowl they sit in. The beef ingredients here were plentiful and I only wish they had an option without the flank and more tendon. The broth here tasted a little watery. Maybe the beef flavour was lacking or the broth wasn’t boiled for long enough but a watery broth made the noodles a little bland for me. I suppose if you like adding lots of chili sauce anyway you might not notice but I don’t recommend the phở if you avoid spice. Interestingly the bean sprouts came bundles on a plate with the phở. Usually I see these bean sprouts come with their own plate. The Spring Rolls here use actual rice wraps which I loved. These came crispy, fried, and full of flavour inside with the usual fare of vermicelli and beef. I loved these more than the phở and would be interested in having these with a rice dish sometime.

Ordered their Braised Duck noodle soup. To my surprise came with a very tasty spring roll and a red chilli pepper for those who want the full authentic Vietnamese food experience. Price was very good for what I got; surprised me in terms of value. Took longer for food to come out only because they take pride in creating a good product and so well worth the wait. Little family owned restaurants like this is what I like.

Sinh sinh took my phở virginity! I had the phở tai nam gam– beef brisket. I have nothing to compare it to but I thought it was alright, nothing spectacular! My friend had the duck leg phở and he wasn’t blown away by it– not his first time trying phở. He tried some of mine as well and was not moved. The serving was huge and there was a good amount of noodles and meat in the bowl. There was no indication on the menu to get a smaller size — I felt bad wasting the food. Unfortunately, the service at this restaurant was not good!!! When ordering drinks, the server only asked my friend what he wanted and assumed I wanted the same thing. She did the same thing when we ordered food. After we got our food, no one checked on us for over an hour. There was only one other guest in the restaurant while we were there. Granted we had nowhere to be and were watching the game and taking advantage of their free wifi, but I was still shocked that no one came by the entire time– we eventually went up to the counter when we were ready to leave. I will most likely be trying my second bowl of phở elsewhere

Loved this place when it opened! They made their own pickles and the portions were good, nice staff, and they paid attention to detail. I brought friends there and spread the word as I wanted them to succeed. Now, we don’t eat there any more as for the last couple of times there, we heard the«ding» «ding» of the microwave constantly. They seem to pre-cook the food and then re-heat it before serving, most of the meat was tough, the rolls old and greasy, and everything non-phở was basically microwaved to death. Too bad, if they are lazy I will take my money elsewhere. So sad.

I love this place, I just moved into the neighbourhood and it is my go to for a delicious phở! The service is genuinely friendly, portion sizes great value for money, and I loooove the food! It’s also never too crowded so food comes fast and it’s a nice place to sit and eat with good wifi! Highly recommend! :)

I really like this place… it’s very clean and well kept. The staff are super sweet and the food is delicious! Good sized portions. I really like the two kinds of dry noodles with mixed seafood. They also take credit cards and debit which is hard to find with some Asian restaurants. There’s free parking right out front provided it’s not full but also ample street parking close by.

Came in looking for a new go-to phở place since the last place that I have always went to started going downhill. I got the phở noodles which only came in one size but was a good portion. The noodles had a good taste and texture to it and the broth had very little oil compared to most of the phở restaurants that I’ve been to around Vancouver. The thai iced tea that i had gotten was vrry good! This is definitely my new go-to restaurant for phở. The downside to this place is that they sometimes close an hour early or so probably due to the lack of customers in the late evening. Other than that, this place would get 4.5 stars for me

Ordered take out yesterday as we were too lazy to cook. Have eaten in at the restaurant a number of times and tried their take out this time. I had their pork chop on rice and it was flavorful but a but tough(very lean). Nice pickled spicy cabbage included in the salad and just enough rice for the meal. Ate 2 of the 3 pork chops that came in my plate. Very satisfied. Wish they didn’t use Styrofoam though…

As I mentioned on my previous reviews, my hubby is big fan of phở and like to try out any new/good Vietnamese food in Vancouver. Here is another new one opened on Victoria Drive. I found Sinh Sinh have good reviews in other website and highly rated. We were so disappointed! We both didn’t like the food coz it’s flavourless! Beef and beef balls phở — the beef was chewy and broth was tasteless! Bun Bo Hue — It’s served in few thin slices of pork hock and soup was flavourless. Salad roll — It’s mediocre and tiny. Sorry… it’s gone from our list!

After the gym I was hun-angry so my better half took me here. We ordered the signature braised duck soup with vermicelli(I didn’t want egg noodles). We also ordered a squid paste«cake» salad roll. The noodle soup was BIG. The soup was brothy and like Kennieth N. said in his review, no hint of MSG. I like how the soup was piping hot and burnt the roof of my mouth. I love a good burn. The soup was dark in color so it makes me wonder what other wonderful Asian herbs were in the unknown magical soup pot other than the usual animal carcasses. The soup tasted earthy and slightly herbal. Again, I don’t have the slightest clue as to what’s in it. It was not bad. The vermicelli was not the«thin» rice vermicelli, rather, it’s round, like a smaller version of Bun Bo Hue noodles. The duck leg was braised to fork tender and full of flavor. The duck leg meat tasted better with Sirracha sauce. This is my philosophy. If you needed Sirracha to enhance your dining experience, you may want to ask yourself if the food is any good to begin with. Real tasty food doesn’t need Sirracha sauce. Anyhow, the noodle soup came with a complementary deep fried spring roll which was really good. They use real rice paper to wrap that sucker. Our appetizer arrived after our main. It was two rolls cut in half so four pieces of your typical vermicelli salad roll. But instead of the shrimp or Vietnamese ham, there’s warm squid paste«cake». They were quite good with the fish sauce dip. Overall the food was good. It’s not 4 stars good but 3.5 stars. The rice dishes with grilled meat and other noodle soups from other tables look good as well. Will most likely return. Parking can be problematic. If you are uncomfortable parking in tight small spaces, don’t even consider parking in the designated parking lot.

Tried the tossed beef dish. Flavor was there. Beef was a bit dry but I like my beef med-med rare so I’ll accept what this dish was supposed to be. My friend tried the phở dac biet special the bowl is large! lots of flavorful soup, no msg, very clean soup. Average amount and ratio of tendon-flank-brisket-balls. My dish had soup too on the side and was also very nice. I wish the meat matched the massive bowls of phở noodles and soup, but oh well for $ 8 can’t be asking much. Have not tried the duck leg on noodle soup yet, will try it as they recommended it. We will be back when we’re back because this area(Kingsway-Victoria Dr.) is the Bermuda triangle of Phở, otherwise known as Kingsway-Kensington aka. Little Saigon.

Family owned business with great potential. Foods on point and I’ll be definitely coming here often for their service and the food of course ;)
