I attended Shawn’s online course. I’m an amateur. I learned a few very useful techniques that immediately improved my photography, as he said it would. I also clarified some topics I was not fully clear on. The course covers tips to improve photography rather than covering a lot of theory. Very practical.
Shawn’s style is easy-​going and never too advanced. He modestly explains that he’s a «professional explainer», and it’s an apt description.
I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to get better results. It’s easy to get bad results with any camera. Despite all the technology, it still comes down to the skill and technique of the photographer.
