We also have experience in assisting employers and their employees with expatriate tax, payroll and human resource issues stemming from international assignments.

History

Established in 1982.

Stephen Katz, a U.S. trained lawyer, left a promising legal career in New York City and moved to Vancouver with his wife and three young children. In that same year (1973), Steve opened a one-​man storefront tax preparation service in Kitsilano. A decade later, Steve incorporated and Stephen Katz Ltd. was born. Today, the company is the premier boutique cross-​border personal tax preparation and consulting company in Vancouver. The company employs 10 full-​time tax professionals.

As a testament to the quality of the services provided, substantially all of the company’s client base has come by way of referral from either existing clients or from other professional service providers (i.e. lawyers and accountants),
