Just about the only good thing is to admire all the over-priced desserts and $ 5 eclairs the size of your palm(and that’s being generous), & honestly, taste doesn’t justify the price. Yet, i’m willing to plop a few bucks for a smaller macaron, go figure lol. Certainly caters to the higher end but i’d rather just go to Fratelli’s or Notte Bön Tonne ;)

I found this by accident when going to the Apple Store at Oakridge Centre(@ Oakridge /41st St) in Vancouver. I was strolling through the food court and happened upon their little shop. I noticed a Texas Butter Pecan Tart; being from Texas myself, I wanted to know what made it a ‘Texas’ Butter Pecan Tart as opposed to any other name Butter Pecan Tart. Apparently, the pecans are from Texas. The nice lady at the counter enlightened me that pecans are not grown in Canada. So, my friend and I purchased that and the French Chocolate Mouse. We split each dessert; they are both truly delicious. The pecans tasted so good; the chocolate mouse was rich and smooth. This store is the sister store of the Stuart’s Bakery on Granville Island(also in Vancouver), also on Unilocal at . They also have many other cookies, small cakes, and tarts(including blueberry). This is located of the Oakridge /41st stop on the Canada Line for those without wheels or whom prefer not driving.
