I’ve actually walked by here and browsed a few times, however, never came out with anything for the office as I felt that the styles were mis appropriate for my age and industry (office but older demo). I had a gift certificate for here a few years ago that I won at a company raffle, however, was never able to find anything. I came close once with a pair of dress pants, however, cut was odd and made me boxy in the hips. I can’t complain about the price since I had a gift certificate, however, I can understand why some would think that it is over priced. I certainly would not take it to the til for some of the prices. As for the customer service I was politely greeted and then left to my own devices. They got the «I’m just browsing vibe» and let me be.

Good service here, walked in, greeted right away by a nice lady. As such, it’s for the early 40s, casual and dressy clothing and not cheap by any stretch, judging by their $ 100 tops. Even with 25% off everything.
But it’s a nice store, well lit and a touch of classiness.
Even the accessories aren’t Ardene stuff, with $ 65 pieces and feel heavy.

I have a bad experience with this store as well. I bought a dress for full price, only to find out that I had a coupon for 40% off that was in effect the next day. The next day I went to the store and asked for price adjustment, but was refused. The store manager was very cold and non-​apologetic, saying that 40% was only off everything new that I would buy this day, but not the day before. Unfortunately, they didn’t have my size anymore, and I couldn’t buy another dress, so I went away very disappointed. However, they have very high quality clothes, and West Vancouver, where you can find another Talbot’s store is too far from where I live. So, I guess, I’ll come back, but it’s never a pleasant shopping experience, too bad…

I had the worst experience with the manager of this store. IThe level of customer service is atrocious. She reflects everything horrile in a retail environment. The rest of the staff I presume have been hired by her are cold and officious. Avoid this store. If you go in and have an awful time please contact the head office or the regional manger and complain.
