wonderful bread. We got the pizza and some fresh bread. Everything was excellent

Simply delicious food and coffee. Staying in Vancouver we had the good luck to be able to walk here each day and enjoy a pastry and coffee. They have an amazing choice of made on the spot pastries. You can see them rolling out dough and such behind the window where you order. The almond croissant and the ham and cheese croissant were both divine. Plenty of room for inside or outside dining with the fur babies. Enjoyed the feeling that you were hanging out with the locals and the brightness and light inside. Good time to go off your non-gluten diet, people!

Wow Terra breads, you are packed! Great bakery with lots of baked goods, breads and snack food, Terra Breads has some great welcoming staff when you walk in. By far my favorite thing is their pizza! Its a little bit pricey but what you do get a fresh tasting super delicious pizza! The best bread is their rosemary. Especially when its fresh. Just spread some butter on that bad boy and you’re in heaven! OH and they do a pretty mean coffee too. I always get the latte when I go there and it never disappoints. Freshly made with steamed milk, just the right thing to wake you up for a Sunday afternoon stroll around the sea wall! It is a little busy since it is located along the sea wall, but its kinda understandable with the nice outdoor seating!

I got a cheese and herb focaccia but was so disappointed at the texture! I had an unpleasant time chewing it because it was hard like a baguette… I thought focaccia was supposed to be softer like pizza dough? Anyway, I found the topping quite salty too. Not my cup of tea.

Stopped here for coffee after a long day of biking the Seawall. And I have to say, that was the BEST Americano I’ve had to date. Didn’t get a chance to eat but it was busy so I assume it’s not a bad place to chow down. Will definitely be stopping by a lot more!

The last few times I’ve gone, it has been packed with line up outside the door. The staff here are friendly and the service is great. The bread here is fresh, I believe they bake all day. I’ve only bought a couple of times and the bread was fresh each time. I’ve gone to other bakery/bread and the bread at those places are sometimes not as fresh. They do sometimes run out of some items such as the roasted tomato & spinach focaccia, muffins, etc, depending on when you go. I was here around 1pm today(March 28th) and they had a few items left. They were baking some more but with the line up, those won’t last long. The coffee here is good for a bakery. It’s not too bitter and doesn’t taste burnt like some other places. Getting a table here can be a little tough so if you have a group, stake out a table early. Or if it is a great day, get take out and sit on some of the benches nearby. It is in a convenient location, right by the seawall, so grab some food and drink and go for a walk. Or go for a quick jog/bike right and come for some food after.

I stopped by this location for lunch with my friends. I ordered breakfast panini and chai. Taste was fine for quick bite. This location is always busy. What is the worst experience we’ve ever had at this location was they forgot our order to bring even we already paid and had waiting number on our table. Then what they said to us, «we cannot find the information in the tills but we can make them for you.» They talked us like we never ordered! They made us guilty instead we were expecting apologies. How disappointed and we lost our appetite… food are okay, a couple staff do not have good customer service, we will never go back this place, probably any locations. It was nightmare. Probably, they will never cared about our experience. Hope, nobody will have experience like we had.

I love their black olives loaf! You can pick half or a whole loaf. It’s about a 5 bucks something for the big one. I always pick the full loaf cuz it’s so fresh… Everything is always fresh btw, Also flawless customer service!

This is like a canadian version of panera bread? I think. with better bread but less friendly staff. So i guess you win and you lose! So for this place you have a huge collection of bread to choose from and they also have sandwiches and panini. The downside is that the sandwiches and paninis are already made. they just simply toast it before serving, just like how startbucks does it. So you can’t really ask for customization…(like no mayo) So that’s the part where i like panera better. But this is a great place to just stop by and fill up my bread stocks!

The Olympic Village Terra Breads is notable for being licensed — they have wine! They also bake 24-hours a day(but the place is not open 24 hours, however), so unlike some other cafes, what you see in the counter might actually still be fresh no matter what time you go, instead of end-of-the-day leftovers if you go late afternoon or evening. Their Hot Chocolate Festival 2016 entries are very strong for being interesting in taste and good price for portion. Drawbacks include being not very hot by the time it got to us; and the underlying hot chocolate seemed a bit thin and mediocre. Honey Buns($ 4.95) Venezuelan dark chocolate, house-made chili honey, cinnamon, bourbon vanilla bean. Served with cinnamon sugar brioche. –We got a very friendly front counter person who also let me try a spoonful of their chili honey. The chili flavour is there and there’s a good burn in the back of your throat but it starts slow. For several seconds all you get is the normal sweetness of the honey. –This hot chocolate definitely has some chili-heat to it, but not too much and no bitterness. Definitely worth a try if you can handle the spicy heat. Ask to try a bit of the honey first if you’re not sure, although that will be spicier than when mixed in the hot chocolate. –Strange powdery residue in the cup, which was not present in the Chocolate Chums hot chocolate. Chocolate Chums($ 4.95) cocoa barry milk chocolate, mascarpone cream. Served with Chocolate Arts Pecan Fruit Crisp [AND] Chocolate Bar. –You get a small bar of chocolate, and a thin slice of fruit crisp on which is a generous dollop of mascarpone. –Nice crunchy chocolate bar. Not that big, so «bar» might be kind of a misnomer. –Clear milk flavour, which sort of ruined this hot chocolate for me, but definitely depends on your personal taste. Other than that, there’s a vanilla(?)-like sweetness to it. Certainly a tamer hot chocolate than honey buns. If you can only try one, try honey buns if you’re adventurous.

My favorite neighborhood café! Staff is super friendly, and their pastries are to die for(pain au chocolat!!)… Only down side is that they are busy ALL the time. They are kid friendly which is great, but good luck finding room for a stroller, chances are there are already 10+ inside hehe… Great soot, great view, patio could be a bit bigger but not really a problem as you can just take your food/coffee to go and go sit by the seawall which is 10sec walk.

Needed a quick and easy breakfast so why not try this place a block away from my house? I was surprised to see it packed to the brim at 9:30am. All the tables were full and there was a line for food. They must be doing something right! I got a breakfast panini with bacon and havarti and a savoury roasted red pepper and spinach focaccia bread and they were both good although nothing exceptionally stellar. For a quick breakfast though, they certainly did the job. And the price point was quite reasonable.

I really enjoy coming to this place. It is a nice bakery and the location in Olympic Village has a great patio. They have a very good cheese board at a very reasonable price. I enjoy their house blend coffee. They have a lot of baked goodies too and they look delicious. Next time I am in Vancouver I am going to come back again.

maybe it’s just me, but i prefer my pastries /bread to be super buttery… but for some reason everything at terra breads just tasted too healthy. we came by around 10 am on a thursday to enjoy a late breakfast. i got the ham and cheese croissant, which tasted too healthy for words. no grease came out of the croissant despite the meat and cheese. after devouring the ham and cheese croissant left me yearning for more, so i went back and got the cinnamon bun(?). also. super. healthy. everything kinda tasted too dry for my taste as well… but overall a great place to hang out. i love the open air patio and space of the bakery. but because of the open air the pastries were also sitting in open air, inviting plenty of summer insects… all i know is, i’m glad i didn’t get sick :)

Great bakery, comparable to Café Artigiano. They have a grand selection of baked breads, from loafs, sticks and baked sweet bread pastries. They have cinnamon buns, squares, scones and on special occasions macarons. They serve in house fired up mini pizzas, sandwhiches, lemonade to juice. Great pit stop and the village terra breads is great for a morning breakfast or post run/bike ride stop.

Terra breads opened another new shop at Olympic Village. They have excellent variety of artisan type breads; most of fresh baked breads are truly delicious. Besides breads, there are cookies, muffins, cinnamon buns, scones, etc are good too! The service is fast and if there’s a line-up it moves quite quickly. You can order to go or eat at the tables. There’s a daily soup as well as delicious sandwiches, coffee, etc. I would highly recommend Terra breads for buying bread/bakery items but also for a casual place to have a basic lunch.

Terra breads is locally owned and just a cute little bakery/pastry place that mainly does breads but tries it’s hands in gourmet sandwiches and drinks. I would highly recommend this place in Olympic village as a meet up or a lazy Sunday read area as it’s busy and nice and overlooking the seawall area. I love the caramel apple foccacio and the blueberry bread. The pain Au chocolat is good and best when warmed up — warm and crispy. You should try one of their other breads and loaves. I wasn’t a fan of the tarts which looked amazing but were a bit too sour or maybe the fruits were not ripe enough or over prepared? I’m not an expert at baking but they were a little too hard or crispy for me. I love the hot chocolate because the usually make it with dark chocolate and you can tell because the bubbly part at the top is darker. I usually forgo the whipped cream. However the last time I had it tasted just like Tim Hortons hot chocolate but it was about 4 $ so I was a bit disappointed that day. Thurs from a four to a three star. Overall would recommend it!

Having to run errands with my mom, we found ourselves looking for a lighter lunch option on a Sunday. My mom was throwing all these ‘heavy’ feeding options that I was not too fond of on this day, so instead we decided to go share a sandwich, and at the same time buy a loaf of sourdough right here. I have been here many times, not once have I come to sit and eat here, until today. This place, as many who know, is located right in the heart of Olympic Village, and depending on if you sit to the North, there is a pretty nice view of downtown, also depening on the time you are in here, and if prime time lunch, it usually is packed! This place runs like a cafeteria, regardless of what you want to order, just get in line, usually it starts right at the entrance, whether you’re taking out, eating in, or just grabbing a coffee, you are going to see everything this place has to offer. I really do like Terra’s bread line-up(as in roster of items), and I find their pastries real good to, but what the heck was I going to have for lunch? Well you are in luck if you come here and actually do want to eat, as it is not just bread and pastries that are sold, but a wide selection of breakfast options, soup of the day, sandwich’s, pizza, they even have local beer and wine to pair up your food… if you chose to do this. Sometimes when you are just looking at all the delightful items being displayed, like walking into a grocery store, you can get tricked into something else instead of what you intended to order, there was enough focus from us today to just order the portobello mushroom on grilled panini bread, and adding a coffee for good measure. We lined up, paid, and were presented a stick with a number on it and to find a seat and our order would be brought to us. After fighting to find a spot, this place was packed on this Sunday afternoon, we sat ourselves near the window facing BC Place. This place can be a great spot to lose yourself and people watch, like a school cafeteria… people are orderly and if you can find a seat. make sure you are eating and not loitering around! When our sandwich did come, it was cut right down the middle, and in between the toasted carb goodness, roasted portobello mushrooms mixed with sun dried tomatos, goat cheese, arugula and some secret sauce acting as the glue to keep everything together… or was that the melted cheese? Each bite was a perfect crunch and munch, with all the flavours melding to be complex yet enjoyable, and for a meat eater like me… no thoughts of wanting any meat. this will do especially how the portobello was cut! This was a satisfying sandwich, washed down with some pretty good coffee. I did, at the same time of my order, order a loaf of their sourdough bread to take home, my main purpose but I’m glad I ate here, and had something they had to make, instead of their already prepared pastries. It can be some loops to find parking around here, as there are many free spots on the street, good luck finding one… but once you do. this is almost a one stop shop… even sitting down you can have a glass of wine. as they serve some local good ones, like Tinhorn Creek and Blasted Church, they even have Steamworks beer here, so if juice or coffee is not your thing… well they have the percentage here also! Come here to satisfy your home carb craving, or come in here to eat… don’t worry. you’ll get something good out of it! Also. if you carry a Vancity debit card. they seem to not work here. as their POS systems do not like them… been here too many times when this happened! Great views of the city from Olympic Village, and when it’s sunny. the outside seating is taken up!

IT’S NICE! A nice place with a nice staff by false creek. In addition, it’s a great place to enjoy a nice breeze during Summer. I love the ergonomic and environmentally friendly urban design of the place. It’s such a nice and relaxing place to just sit down, study, chat or even«zone out». I like their coffees.(Latte/Mocha)
