The Beaumont Studios is an artist community, gallery and event space located in Mount Pleasant.

Just shy of 7,000 sq.ft., we have 16 private art studios, home to over 40 artists working in a range of disciplines and creating an amazing supportive community setting. Our diverse group includes potters and ceramic artists, composers, painters, film makers, photographers, graphic, fashion and jewelry designers, sculptors, carpenters, glass workers and a shoe maker.

In our gallery we showcase local artists who work in a variety of mediums. The gallery also provides a unique setting for art exhibitions, receptions, book launches and intimate music showcases.

We are a destination for amazing events including yoga, workshops for jewelry, drawing & painting, hoola hooping, and poi. We throw fantastic themed parties including burlesque shows, Halloween, NYE and we host 2 block parties each year.

History

Established in 2004.

The Beaumont was established by artist Jude Kusnierz, as an open and supportive environment for a wide variety of creative professionals. Being a full-​time professional artist for over a decade, Jude’s goal was to create a unique environment where artists like herself, could work in a beautiful, safe, reasonably priced, positive and upbeat environment. A place that would offer opportunity for growth, mentoring and cross pollination of ideas and business.

Jude Kusnierz is joined by Charmaine Carpenter as they share the responsibilities of running the multi-​faceted Beaumont Studios. Together with a team of dedicated artist volunteers, Jude and Charmaine rent space, organize events and manage the space. Feel free to contact either of them anytime with questions or comments.
