Imagine a video version of karaōke… Provide us with a 10′ x 10′ space with a standard electrical outlet and we’ll bring the fun! Your guests perform in a 7 second video clip while watching themselves on a flat screen monitor while playing around wigs, signs, props, etc. In a minute-​and-​a-​half, we turn the video clip into a personalized flip book while party-​goers watch.

History

Established in 2010.

The FlipBook Experience, has brought back the nostalgic fun of the animated flip book.

Recognized as one of the earliest forms of interactive multimedia, flip books were first patented in 1882. The first flip books consisted of simple drawings stacked in sequential stages in order to provide the illusion of movement. Flip books then became popular in the early 1900’s by the Cracker Jack Company who gave them away as free prizes. Other marketers soon followed suit.

Marketers are once again turning to flip books as a new form of experiential marketing to captivate their audiences, sending them home with a branded flip book to share with friends. The same idea is also being used by event planners to entertain their guests with an interactive party favor.

The FlipBook Experience uses reengineered technology to utilize the original flip book concept to create engaging flip book experiences. They do so by creating flip books from live-​action video footage taken on-​site.
