These guys are amazing. This is hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. If I see this truck anywhere I will stop for a burger. The bun, I can’t remember where it’s baked but it’s fantastic.

Just ordered a cauliflower burger. Very delicious flavours for sure — Love it! However I felt it could be either a bit bigger for $ 7.00 or a bit cheaper being the vegetarian option… we all know how much cauliflower costs compared to beef: P Still awesome though!

Was able to snag a burger here on an accidental run-in on my way to Brassneck. I wasn’t even hungry but these guys aren’t easy to find. I ordered the Burger. $ 7. Fat«YES!» to bacon +$ 2. $ 1 tip = a $ 10 burger. I ask them, «Do you do medium rare?» And the guy seemed almost excited that I had requested it medium rare. About 2 seconds later, I inhaled that juicy delicious burger– Two RAVINGTHUMBSUP for these dudes. Delicious Ciabatta bun, soft but not airy as to not support the Insides. I can’t honestly say I noticed any of the insides– I decided to eat it instead of instagram it– I was too excited to wait. I think the only veg inside is a piece of lettuce. I only saw later in pictures that there was, indeed, bacon– I didn’t taste it– what I tasted was the delicious freshly ground meat that was cooked to perfection. Pink inside– just as I asked, juicy– and it TASTEDLIKEBEEF. So many burgers are over done nowadays that you just douse it in some chipotle sauce and call it a day. But these guys actually have a burger that tastes like dead cow. *clap-clap– applause* This burger reminds me of Toronto’s Burger Priest. Fresh ground chuck on a flat top grill. That’s all you need to make a good burger. They also have this really great sauce that doesn’t overpower the burger but compliments it really nicely. Spicy mayo of sorts. Next time I’m getting just a single burger. No bacon– I don’t think it needs it. Other folks say the bun to meat ratio is off. And I’d agree if you just LOOKED at the burger itself. It’s actually not like. an impressive LOOKING burger. But I’d say the meat to bun ration is just right in terms of flavour and juiciness. Two patties might be delicious– but possibly overkill. The meat really stands up to the big ciabatta bun. I’d stick with a single. Next time I’ll try a single and a burger– that will bring it to $ 10. Eat it inside Brassneck and that will be on par with prices at restaurants with the same ambience. Out of all the burger places that will do a medium rare in Vancouver– I crown this one as the best. Other medium rare burgers I’ve had in my belly: The Pourhouse Alibi Room *Please suggest others for me to try. I believe Oakwood no longer does their burger med-rare

Forget about five guy’s, white spot, or gourmet restaurant burgers: this is the best damn burger in Vancouver. Their cheeseburger is a single 4oz Patty that packs the punch and flavor of one that doubles it’s size. The patty is wrapped in a nice crust, and inside is that explosive juicyness and big beef flavour. The whole thing is perfectly season, light on sauce, and will have you crave for more. But take it from someone who decided to try their double: the single is far superior in taste; and if you really want more, get another single.

* Great quick juicy burger * A newer addition to the local food truck scene, I spotted the Local Omnivore in front of 33 Acres and had to give it a try, as I’m always on the search for a better burger. The basic cheeseburger is $ 7, and you can add an extra patty for $ 4. There is also an option to add bacon for $ 2. I opted for the extra patty, as they said the patty was a 4oz. patty and figured I would try the bacon on another visit. They prepped the burger pretty quickly, and presented it in a closed box making it easy to carry. Opening the box, here was the view: It was a bit hard to get the burger out of the box! But it was worth it. The patties were nicely seared, and phenomenally juicy inside. This was one of the juiciest burgers I’ve had in Vancouver. The green leaf lettuce and cheese added the perfect contrasts. There was a slightly spicy sauce which was applied to the nicely grilled bun. It added the necessary seasoning without overpowering the flavour of the beef. The beef was really the highlight. It was a nice quality that still retained the natural beef flavour well. Overall, this was a really enjoyable juicy multiple napkin burger! This truck is a VERY welcome addition to the local burger scene!
