One of the smaller Tim Horton’s locations but it’s not in a very central location with lots of businesses around so it makes sense they didn’t open a large store here. Don’t get me wrong, there are businesses in the area but it’s just not like the Fir and Broadway or Broadway by Laurel location type busy is what I mean. It’s always a hit or miss with the service and speed. Even when there’s a line, they generally only have one till open. Today was one of those days. The server was really patient and nice with the lady in front of me. The strange lady just kept tacking on her order on a whim. Seriously had no determination and just winged it. It took forever with her hmming and hawing. Guess what happened when she picked up her drink? Customer: Which one is my black coffee? Employee: The one labelled B.C. Customer: I need splenda and cream(after she ordered her other drinks double double). Anyway, the employee looked as frustrated as I was but she was nice and quick with me. It helps if you aren’t dawdling when there’s a lineup of 5 – 6 people behind you. Anyway, my drink was as I ordered. I know that sounds normal but it’s not. I’ve been to several Tim Horton’s and my double double wasn’t a double double. My sandwich was piping hot and came out quickly. Ample parking in the parking lot. If that’s full, there’s always free street parking because it’s a rather residential area.

I love studying here because u love how quiet the atmosphere is during night time, especially the bar chairs. I also miss it being 24 hours. Great place great food friendly employees

Coffee as good as it usually is! Tables seat max 3 people so bad for groups! Great place to drop by if you are waiting 45 minutes in line for Jethros Fine Grub for breakfast!

This location can get busy at times and there’s not a ton of space, but the service makes the best of it. I stop in there most mornings. The manager runs a good team and everyone works hard. High volume fast food will never be perfect, but it’s one of the better places I’ve found to grab a quick coffee on the go.

Barely makes a 3 star, simply too small and outdated. Granted, it’s good if you want some peace and quiet here to work/study, open 24 hours, free wifi. Good mid-way point to UBC.

Very poor customer service. Way too understaffed. Been to lots of other Tim’s and nowhere else is the quality of service this poor. Actually walked out without ordering today as there was the usual one guy at the counter taking orders and then making the food and drink. Not worth the 20 minute wait for a coffee.

Oh Canada… What would you be without the good ol’ Timmy Ho’s. The branch on Dunbar and 19th is exactly what you would expect from a Tim Horton’s. So if you’ve ever been to one, you already know what it’s going to be like. It has plenty of parking spaces and operates 24 hours.

No vegan desserts even after years of being in business. I prefer local coffee shops. Drinks are sub-par and this place ruins the neighborhood aesthetic a bit.

Its not bad but the service could improve a bit. Maybe hiring more staff should help.

I was very Happy when Dunbar got a Timmys. What can I say its Tim Hortons… Good Food, Decent prices! Some of the staff here are right on the ball while others are slacking big time in common sense and customer service skills. pretty sure theres a high turn over in the younger staff. The Owner is always friendly. Sometimes lines can get huge espcially since they seem to always only have one cashier during these crazy times. Eating area could be bigger as well as Parking lot!

One of the best things about Timmy’s is that unlike most other small coffee joints, they’re not filled with piles of students studying away during exam season. You can come in for a coffee and a chat, and most of the time it’s pretty deserted. At night you’ll see the occasional group of drunken clubbers, or police cruiser(haha). Parking here is nice at night thanks to the large lot. There are also a few spots reserved for Timmy’s, which is also nice during the day as usually the lot is jammed full of people going to the BC Liquor Store a couple of doors down.
