I ordered my thanksgiving dinner from here is was so delish! The price was good there was enough food for four people, for $ 100! That was great I couldn’t cook turkey this year so we had to order ! For Christmas too since I can’t cook a turkey I’m going back to truffles to order it from there ! But price kinda went up by $ 50! I guess because it’s Christmas everything goes up! So I’m hoping the food will be the same as thanksgiving and just as good! Was also in there on Wednesday for a busy meeting had the turkey Brie Apple sandwich ANDOMG !!! Will be back for that in no time considering my business is a few blocks up!!! But the macaroons are so good too but kind of pricey! Walk in there everything smells so good !!! There’s all kinds of different stuff! Over all so far sooo good! I hope they keep it up this waY!!!

I have a persistent sweet tooth on the daily and Truffles has always been able to help me with this. I’ve gotten their cream cheese raspberry croissant, chocolate croissant, blueberry scone, chocolate cookie, muffins — all great(my go-to is the chocolate croissant). In terms of food I’ve gotten the breakfast wrap, the turkey brie sandwich and a few other things that didn’t stand out. Most of the time the food is fantastic(especially the turkey brie), but other sandwiches I’ve gotten were sometimes soggy(tomatoes do that though). Stars were lost for the inconsistent customer service. This will come off sexist unfortunately, but it’s just the way it turned out: the service I experienced from the male servers was always pleasant and helpful(if I can’t decide I ask for an opinion), and the service I get from the female servers is a bit of a hit and miss. They don’t seem to smile or look patient as you survey the many options in the glass case. I remember the A-board outside said«free coffee with breakfast sandwich» and I was buying breakfast so why not ask if I could get the free coffee. Her answer was«No, it says breakfast sandwiches. You’re getting a breakfast WRAP.» Ok ok, not a huge deal, I mean I didn’t really need the coffee, but I felt really stupid for asking. It’s written clear, it’s fine I don’t get the free coffee, but her tone was so full of disdain I wanted to shrink. The breakfast wrap was delicious though!

Super nice employees, great service, and best croissant, coffee and hot chocolate we had in Vancouver.(We were staying in Yaletown but explored the entire Granville District).

Salad: Truffles’ beet salad doesn’t contain any leafy green distractions. Instead, the salad really foregrounds the beets with dollops of soft goat cheese, candied pecans and a sprinkle of dill. The portions were quite generous for the price; $ 5 for a full bowl of salad. If they added fresh basil or some other veg to the bocconcini salad it would be far superior. At this point, the tomatoes overpower the salad and the cheese comes from tre stelle(not the best quality or flavour). Sandwich: The Bocconcini and Balsamic sandwich is decent. The sandwich comes with mozzarella, tomato, and greens(arugula I believe) on ciabatta bread. It also has a sundried tomato«aioli» which some days it looks like it contains mayo, other days it looks like it’s just a sundried tomato tapenade. On the days when the sandwhich is full of mayo it’s quite disappointing that they cannot make a mayo-free version on the spot for those of us who are allergic. Pastry: Their blueberry danish(with white chocolate) is suspiciously similar to Terra Bread’s blueberry bread. In other words, it’s incredible. The cranberry scone is a bit too sweet for a scone, but still very devourable. And their raspberry cream cheese croissant will keep me coming back for more.

First impression was not good. There’s no A/C and the ventilation is really poor so on a warm but not unreasonably hot summer day, it was almost unbearable inside. I can give that a pass but their coffee is just okay. For the price of a premium latte, I’d say it was average at best. Nearby Musette and even Container Coffee serve a better coffee, from my point of view.

Nom Nom Nom. My sandwich is phenomenal! Iam glad I was finally able to try their sandwich for turkey, apple and brie after ling walk by seawall. By far, this is definitely a hidden gem excellent fine food gem. You order at the counter then self a seat. Truffles has hype atmosphere with a great homey feel. Our sandwiches came incredible good. Perhaps outstanding ingredients and fresh bread that make their sandwich so good. Lots of real protein filling and just perfect combination brie and sliices granny smith apple. Well presented, flavourful and simply amazing sandwich for $ 8. We saw they have roast beef station as well. Looks delicious. Not to forget, the guy behind the counter was very professional. His very calmly and efficiently serves us despite he worked alone and there were 6 of us lined up and on the corner of beverages station, display multiple best winners catering for a few years in the row. They had a readily drinking water station, didn’t pressure us to buy anything more than what we wanted. This is a cool place that we’ll definitely eat at again.

I was looking for a good coffee, soy decaf latte is my drink which is hard to find sometimes. Truffles had it and it was delicious. Same price as Starbucks but unlike Starbucks Truffles is value for money!

I love the cheesecake desserts in the mason jars. Tastes amazing. Price point is a little pricey but staff are friendly and nice. Ambience is really great. Love that they have an expanded patio now.

Team Tastic came here for a late lunch and we got to try the following: Blueberry Mint Lemonade Beetroot & Goat Cheese Salad(crumbled goat cheese, honey, toasted candied pecans, dill and parsley) Classic Roast Turkey & Brie(turkey, Brie, apple, watercress, cranberry spread, served on cranberry semolina bread) Chocolate Mousse(with chocolate cookie crumbs) The Blueberry Mint Lemonade was a treat. It’s all produced by Truffles Fine Foods and I liked the carbonated blueberry with a sour twist. The mint was a little weak for me but this is definitely best served cold right from their fridge rack. I thought the Beetroot Salad was also a fine choice. Unlike other places who might mix in other greens with a side of beetroot, this was the real deal with beetroot front and center. The candied pecans had a nice crunch to them and paired well with the softer vegetables. Just looking at the grill lines on this turkey sandwich makes me drool. Perfect uniform lines courtesy of a grill means this sandwich has a fine crunch on the outside backed with a fruity bite with the built-in cranberries. The turkey tasted fresh and the melted Brie was deliciously melted. There are a ton of sandwiches on display so I can definitely a quick lunch for two by splitting a sandwich and ordering a salad or if you’re really hungry try double-fisting two sandwich halves. Last but certainly not least, the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a jar, this mousse was my favourite part of the meal. Being served in a jar means you get to really interact with the container and pry out as much as you can with your spoon. This dessert is best eaten in my opinion mixed first with a spoon so you can mix in the cookie crumbs with the whipped cream chocolate pellets on top. Once it’s all mixed you’ll have a satisfying spoon of mousse and decorations in every gulp.

Great truffles, amazing tea and lemonade… good sandwiches. What happened to the salad? No flavor in the dressing more red onion than possibly reasonable by any standard… see the photo… and tomatoes that tasted like they’d been around for longer than a day. I know it was 6pm but… it was borderline food safe questionable. At least the service and chocolates nearly made up for it. For this price and the rest of the shop’s standards… I expected more. :(Fix the greens and you get a 5 star. Kind of embarrassing to bring to your date on a picnic.

So, I was going to go to Timmys but noticed this place across the street Ordered the cuban sandwhich, split pea soup, danish, and a coffee. plus they threw in a free apple. They serve JJ Bean coffee, which is a plus in my books. Sandwich was tasty. soup was too spicy. but the star was the blueberry danish. Wow. reminded me of a dessert pizza. Price was. it wasn’t cheap. But, i’d be back for the coffee and that danish.

Just opened last Wednesday. Spanking new, love it. Nice corner location. Serve sandwiches, soups, salads and a porchetta that smelled incredible, with a wad of bacon as per pic. Ordered the Macarons, raspberry chocolate and salted caramel. Watch out Thierry,…great texture. Like the contemporary décor. friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also some on the go items like yogurt parfait and dessert in cool glass containers, as per pic. Free WiFi. Almost like Breka but higher end. Comffy seating.
