I am very thankful to have met Quentin. He was originally teaching at a small boutique Yoga studio which closed down. Because I am new to yoga, I wanted to continue with the momentum I had gained at the beloved Robson Yoga Studio. Thankfully, Quentin kept in touch with some of his students. I am so glad that he is now delving into the private yoga sector. He hits all the main points I was looking for as a beginner: 1. Non-pretentious studio: my main focus for yoga was bringing it back to its roots. I have never liked large chain yoga studios. It loses the true focus. Because it is private now, he will come to you. Home, work, outdoors! 2. Budget friendly: if I can fit yoga into my life even twice a week, for the price of 30 dollars per session… I’m in. He is offering 6 private sessions for 180 dollars at this time. So worth it. 3. Take his time to understand your body/needs: We took 4⁄6 sessions working on my needs, previous fractures, and strengths. He typed out a flow sequence specifically for me and we practice it every session. 4. Flexibility in instruction: there are weeks when I am overwhelmed. We slow the pace, and even add 15 – 20 minutes of meditation. He never rushes you… even if he goes over time. Most of my sessions have been 1:15 — 1:30 minutes. 5. Honesty: he is very honest about his take on yoga, life and teachings. I appreciate his level of confidence and transparency. 6. He is constantly making sure you’re comfortable, and working towards perfecting alignment. There is no way any studio would give you this level of correction and patience. Check this wonderful yoga teacher out. You will not be disappointed. Hooray for a well meaning, down to earth teacher.
