A useful public library with a so-so wi-fi service but definitely not the place to go if you want to read or engage in study. It has to be the noisiest and most disorderly library in Vancouver. The multiple rows of computer stations are occupied by kids who use them to play video games. These brats chatter loudly amongst themselves and yell out constantly, driving other patrons absolutely nuts. Library staff do absolutely nothing to get them under control. Often times a large group of them will arrive, drape their jackets on all the eight or so chairs surrounding one of the reading tables, and then spend an hour playing video games. For that entire hour, no other patron can use this table for legitimate reasons because its being used to hold jackets and coats. Other times, a large group of kids will leave all their books and personal effects on a table and then head off to Macdonalds for lunch. Again, no other patrons can use this library table while the kids are spending an hour eating at the Macdonald’s restaurant down the block. Library staff are aware of all this going on and do absolutely nothing. What do these people get paid for?

Although I really appreciate clustering community facilities it is worth mentioning that the parking layout is ATROCIOUS for this shared lot. It kinda overshadows some of the fun to struggle so significantly with stressing over just getting out of the car. Aargh!
