Love this little Hardware Store tucked away in the wonderful downtown West End. We have been going there for years — we have bought all our paint there to paint our apartment and the owner, Bruce, is fully capable and qualified to mix paints. This shop has everything you need — nothing nicer than NOT having to drive or take transit when you need Paints and Hardware. It’s all right here in your back yard. I fully recommend this shop. Bruce and his business partner are great to deal with. Super well stocked little shop. The owners dog Xian (Sian) is an absolute darling and so friendly. Love spending time in there.

Great neighbourhood business! Very good selection at very good prices. They saved me so many trips to Home Depot!
The guys working there are very knowledgeable and always do their best to help you. If they don’t have a certain item, they will either order it in or tell you where to find it.
They do key cutting too, which is great. They even cut me a new key when my old one broke in half! I didn’t even know that was possible. Saved me some $$ for not having to call a locksmith.

Another greet neighborhood hardware store in Vancouver downtown, this hardware store is more pleasant for home owners then contractors.
The price is a bit more, but it those save time and gas to go to home depot or Rona. You can find most hardware and paint equipments in this location and the owner is a really nice guy. Almost forgot to mention the cute dog that he has, never barks, always comes to say Hi, even if your just passing by.

What ever happened to the days when every community had a little grocery store, a hardware store, a café etc. Well all you have to do is hit the 800 block of Bidwell to get that neighbourhood feel again.
Next to Aria Market (see that review) lies a quaint little hardware store. Whatever you need, you can probably find here. I’ve picked up a watering can, propane tank, caulking gun, paint… Home Depot barely registers now.
And don’t forget to pet the owners awesome dog Chayenne. She’s a sweety and can be found in the store or catching some rays on the sidewalk.
