Stanley F. Anderson founded Wine-​Art, now known as Wine Kitz. ANDERSON, Stanley F. was born in 1921 and passed away in Cowichan on March 20^th, 2006. He dedicated his life to the science of wine; importing ingredients and equipment from all over the world. He wrote 5 books on wine and beermaking. In the 1960’s Buzz Arthurs and his two sons John and Mike partnered up with Andy. Wine Art catered to wine and beermakers seeking quality supplies for making wine and beer at home. Wine Art grew over the years into the world’s largest manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer supplying discriminating wine and beer makers around the world. In 1987, they developed the first 4 week wine kit. I started working at Wine Art Kitsilano in 1990 as a means to complete my science degree at UBC. Wine Art merged with Wine Kitz in 1997. In 2003 the stores were franchised and I became the owner of Wine Kitz Kitsilano. We now provide brewing services in store with a 100% guarantee!
