Cafe Shemshak

I am happy to be the first person to review this delicious, mom and pop pizza/​sandwich shop on Yonge. I have been there a total of 5 times since they took over management in October. They recently gave it a face lift and made the restaurant cozy and very welcoming, and I must say it gets better and better every time I go there.
They offer a wide range of pizzas, sandwiches and other Persian specialties like Ash-​e Reshte, Halim and kookoo sabzi.
The first few times I went I placed orders for my husband and I, I saw how quick and pleasant their service was so, I decided to order for a party I was having. I ordered large 6 pizzas and told the young man I would be there for 7 to pick up. When I arrived they had a few people in line ordering so I thought my order wasn’t ready as it was their rush period. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the very sweet and lovely young lady at the front, she told me my order was ready, and they were putting the last pizza in the box! EXCELLENT time management. They offered my a side of their specialty olives on the house, and helped me take everything to my car.
The pizzas all had generous amounts of toppings on them and were all full of flavour. My guest loved the pizzas and a few became regulars after trying it. They drizzle some ketchup which gives it a really awesome flavour. ASK FOR THEIR GARLIC SPECIAL SAUCE OMG!!! IT IS SOOOO GOOD
