Hazelton Manor

I went to Hazelton Manor for a wedding banquet and the experience was excellent.
Parking lot is huge as I had no problem finding a parking space even I arrived 30 minute after the reception started.
The event space itself is huge as it can accommodate more than 2 events at the same time with separate entrance, reception area and washrooms.
The décor is classy and elegant. Nothing too bright and flashy.
Usually I complain about banquet food but the food served here was quite decent. The bartenders at the open bar were efficient and polite. The only complaint probably the waitstaff which was not as professional and seasoned.
Soundproofing might also be an issue as I could hear the heavy bass music from the ballroom next door.

We had our wedding here on June 20 2015 and we were impressed by our event planner Ken who took care of us from beginning to end. He was courteous, helpful and personable. They operate on a no pressure basis and we were able to settle the bill on the following Monday. The food was adjusted to my liking when I provided my feedback during our tasting and the servers were extremely polite. Our lobster was a little overlooked but our steak was tender (I prefer my steak blue rare). The bartenders were friendly and was eager to create their own shots for the guests to try and were extremely honest people, we did not have someone supervising the front entrance and our guests had left their cash gifts on the bar top and the bartenders returned it immediately to my bridesmaid. Our only con however was that the bar was not opened on the inside of our reception and guests had to constantly exit the dining room to get their fix which caused a commotion and held back our grand entrance and disturbed our speeches. A fault that can be easily fixed and overlooked.
I would absolutely recommend Hazelton Manor and Ken if you’re looking for a great venue and amazing staff!

Had the pleasure of going to Hazelton Manor on Friday night to supervise a prom. A little out of my way, but I get the impression that most banquet halls are not 416-​country. You have to go through a winding road to get to Hazelton Manor so I would recommend that you use your GPS to navigate yourself when coming here.
Being in the ‘burbs, the area is h u g e. There is quite a large parking lot … I suppose this is a ‘must’ for any banquet hall.
The décor of the place is absolutely stunning. It looks like a giant château — it’s a great place for taking photos because you can be anywhere in the hall and still have a good backdrop for your photos. The Prom Committee hired a photographer; my colleague/​friend and I got our photo taken in front of the fireplace. We were quite happy with the result!
Food was excellent. The entrée wasn’t your typical ‘rubber chicken.’ Dessert was nice too… heat shaped ice cream with a berry sauce on the side.
I’m a fan!
