Kingsview Park

Located between two schools, with lots to climb on, slides galore and a bunch of swings kids can have a tonne of fun on this playground surrounded with sand.
Beside the playground is a little gazebo but nothing to sit on under it unfortunately. On the other side of the playground is a new addition, a mini soccer field for the little ones, and it looks as though it is used by one of the local little leagues. I believe this is just a temporary addition since the goals don’t have nets in them and they aren’t fastened to the ground in anyway, and the lines are kinda hap hazardly put down more like they killed the grass than have the white painted lines.
To the side of the new soccer field is a basketball court. Looks to still be in good condition I haven’t noticed any cracks or warping in the asphalt yet anyway, and the lines are still very visible.
The only problem with this park is the maintainance. People tend to not clean up after themselves, there are always empty bottles from water or those Gatorade type drinks around the basketball court and I have found fireworks laying around after a long weekend.
I had to pick these up as no one else really seemed to care, but my daughter will grab everything she sees, and I’m sure other kids would too.
Overall it’s a large space to run around and play it is generally clean with those exceptions and most people that frequent the park are pretty friendly.
