Moksha hot yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga and the foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The series is a cardiovascular workout that strengthens, tones and loosens the muscles, while calming the mind and reducing stress.

The ‘hot’ in hot yoga allows for deep, safe stretching and promotes detoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat. Classes are suitable for all levels of ability, even ABSOLUTE beginners with limited flexibility!

History

Established in 2011.

Moksha Yoga is more than a series of postures.

It began with the vision of two individuals and has since grown into a worldwide community with classes and studios around the globe.

We are a group of independent hot yoga studios committed to ethical, compassionate and environmentally conscious living, and believe that the benefits of yoga are limitless and accessible to all.

This family has evolved and flourished with the ideas, hard work and support of every Moksha Yoga studio owner, Moksha Yoga teacher and most importantly through a community of devoted students working on bettering the world on a subtle level — one sweaty yoga class at a time!

Jackie Q.

Business Owner

Jackie is probably one of the most organized people you will ever meet. Although without her notebook, calendars, and post-​it notes, she would be lost. She is friendly, generous and always laughing. Jackie has a warm, loving heart and is known amongst her friends as the «mom» because she is always looking out for everyone else. Following in the traits of her Cancer horoscope, she is usually guided by her emotions in any decision she makes. Becoming a Moksha yoga instructor was a natural progression for Jackie to share something she was passionate about with those around her.

Since completing the Moksha Yoga teacher training in Kerala, India in March 2009, Jackie has found a new appreciation for those around her and herself. In November 2010 she completed the Moksha Yoga Level 2 training in Costa Rica and in December 2011, the Moksha Flow training in Halifax.
