Deanna Jean, Senior Sales Manager at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Toronto Vaughan. She completed her Wedding Planner Certificate for Marriott and eventually moved to handling Corporate, Association and SMERF (Sports, Military, Education, Religion, Fraternity) markets/​accounts.

After 9 ½ years of service with Marriott, Deanna Jean decided it was time for a change and understanding the major competitor and moved as a Senior Sales role with Four Points by Sheraton for four years. And this was followed and venturing other Sales and Marketing role with Schulich School of Business, Delta Toronto East Hotel and Suites, Holiday Inn Express and Days Inn Niagara Falls.

In addition to being a full time in Hospitality Sales, Deanna Jean is an active member with different associations naming:

Trendy, modern suites. Well thought out layout and beds were the most comfortable out of any hotels at this price point. Room was spotless and even though there were some loud guests across the hall we couldn’t hear them with the door closed. Only thing we didn’t like was that the bathroom doors (shower/​toilet) locks were broken.

This is a great property. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. I enjoyed my and would stay. It’s about 30 mins outside Toronto. There is free parking, free wifi and the staff is friendly. The property is very clean. I had no complaints. It’s near an IKEA which is one of my favorite stores.

If you’re looking for a nice, tidy and spacious suite to stay in then it is going to be hard to beat this hotel.
The service at the front desk was quick and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable, bed was great! As well as the bathroom and showers.
We had the Buffett breakfast which was complimentary, as was the wifi and parking.
Great hotel for the price and close to the main city center of Toronto.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Our suite was nicely decorated with relaxing colours. Loved the large shower with waterfall shower head. Good price for what you pay and a pretty large continental breakfast.

Overall, my family and I had a great time at this property. Rooms were clean and had a good layout.
Special thanks to Velma who did an excellent job as far as housekeeping goes.
The hotel also provided a great breakfast selection!
Now, there were some issues in the room: the lock at the powder room, as well as bathroom were not working and that was a bit of an issue at times. In addition, the ventilation system in the bathroom did not work! That was a huge negative!
The staff were for the most part friendly and helpful!

Very good service, the restaurant had ok food. but I had better hotel food. I like the suites. there nice, but the reason for the 3 stars is because I felt the rooms were hospital’ish. loo. again I’ve been to 5 star hotels, so I know how a 4 – 5 star room should look like and this just wasn’t it for me. Not bad though.

Love this place! Maybe I’m biased due to my horrible stay at Hilton Niagara Falls a night before?! Great service by Jimmy at front desk, Maria and Silvania during BF crazy-​busy time. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here.
Will definitely return and stay when I’m back in Toronto area :-)

In Toronto? Looking to stretch the budget?!
For 125 a night it is so worth it. The bar, the rooms, the gym, everything is very updated and modern. Heck even the food was good! I was really impressed and if you are in the area, definitely stay here.
I would give it 5 stars but it wasn’t perfect. There are misc things that disappointed like the customer service and bar tending, but overall still very good.

Brand new Springhill Suites and Marriott did a fantastic job. Everything I experienced at this hotel was fantastic. The lobby is stylish and well appointed with a bar. The room was nicely done, far outdoing much more expensive hotels in style and amenitites. Room had bathroom in two seperate rooms (one for toilet and sink, another with shower and sink) as well as the usual suite options (but more well done) such as couch, seperate office area, fridge, etc. Front desk service was great. Would I stay here again? Yes provided they keep everything up including the great service.
